I love this so much. i talk about this topic with my friends all the time.And i would love to wacth my childhood again, i miss it. I really hope this works, i can't stand the shows that are on now.
Disney has it own channel just for their cartoons...why can't Nickelodeon have their own channel just for the old shows? don't let Disney outdo you, Nick!
Definitely bring those shows back. All those shows are awesome, of course that was when Nickelodeon was great, but not so much any more. Why don't they start a channel where they show Nick classics like these shows. Other networks do it.
I miss all those shows. Especially Rocko's Modern Life! Those shows were the best. I used to be glued to the tv when they were on. Old Nickelodeon rocks! New Nickelodeon does not.
Just to tell people, this petition is a really good effort, and nick needs to know they suck right now, but I doubt they are going to put back the other shows..
for one main reason: they are inappropriate according to ratings of today.
Example: I downloaded and episode of are you afraid of the dark the other day, and this little girl maybe like 11 pulls out a pack of cigarettes and tries to light up. There's NO WAY IN HELL they would show that on a kids network today.

Just to tell you, all the old Nickelodeon game shows (GUTS, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Double Dare, etc.) are shown all day, no commercials, on a special on demand tv channel called "Nick GAS". But just the game shows. not the shows like Salute your shorts and My Brother and ME
Almost makes me wish I had been old enough to think of recording them. Ahhh to be that age again where you don't know your favorite shows will one day vanish. *sigh*
the new shows on nickelodeon are so bad. the new all that, my dad the rock star, avatar: the last airbender, all growed up, whatever that horrible show with jamie lynn spears is....the list could go on. i would buy any of the old nick shows on dvd in a heartbeat.
I think that the old Nick shows should definately be put back on the current Nick channel. Anyone who lived during the days of such classics as Salute Your Shorts, Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Clarissa Explains It All, Picture Pages, Eureka's Castle, The Adventures of the Little Koala, Lil' Bits, and even Fred Penner's Place knows how great these shows were back in the day, and I for one would LOVE to see all these and more of the old ones back on Nick. Please, Please listen to all of us when we say "Bring Our Classic Nick Back!!"

Bring back all the good shows i mean they were great to watch and better then the shows that are on now and you learned things from them that were useful unlike today's shows.
I love all those old shows, if you cant bring them back for good at least have a week dedicated to all the 90's shows!!! I love them all, espesially are you afraid of he dark and alex mac!!!

Bring back all the old Nickelodeon shows, b/c i miss all of them. When i was in middle school, Nick was my favorite channel.I just graduated from high school, and Nick isn't the same channel anymore. I miss seeing "My Brother n Me" on Sunday nights, while finishing up my homework. I miss "Salute Your Shorts" and singing the Camp Anawanna theme song every time it comes on. Please bring back your classic shows or at least compile a dvd collection of them. I would really like to have some episodes of "pinwheel" to start my one year old on. I also enjoyed danger mouse, you cant do that on television, and mr. wizard.

All my favorite shows I used to watch when I was younger were on Nickelodeon. Rocket Power was the first sign of how bad Nick could actually be! Bring back the old good stuff. New Nick really does suck!!!
I miss the shows that I grew up on. I honestly think these shows sent the right messages. The reason why I was so smart as a child had to do with the fact that Nick didn't undermine my intelligence and mock me with the kind of shows they're showing children now. Example? Blues Clues. Do you see a clue? you DO? WHERE?! Here? "No!! There!!!" Instead, they showed David the Gnome, Little Bits, Under the Umbrella Tree, Grimms Brother's Fairy Tales, Alex Mac, Pete & Pete, Clarissa Explains it All, and good competitive shows like Legends of the Hidden Temple. Everyone I know feels the same way. Nickelodeon now is a mockery of what it used to be. Please bring the old shows back. I guarantee everyone will love it. I know everyone would want to watch Nick all over again, because at the moment, I don't even bother to see what's on anymore since I feel like Nickelodeon essentially undermines my intelligence.
