Sega should be ruling the games kingdom alongside Nintendo. Microsoft and Sony are software and Electronics manufactures NOT Gamers. You guys made the markets with solid games and tones of fun. Keep it up your Arcade are still ripping it up!
I have owned every sega console and to me, no other consoles compare.
The dreamcast was spot on with so many good games, same with the mega drive. If a new sega console was released, I would buy it in a second.
Damn my fickle nature! My loyalties have swayed to Xbox, but my heart remains with Sega, particularly Dreamcast. Sony destroyed any decent competition when it crippled the Saturn by a mass advertising campaign, that simply brainwashed the world. New generation games are missing the magic that i got from dreamcast titles. Hell, i even loved the Mega CD. I have always been a Sega fan, and hope one day they will develope something outstanding to finally shut sony the hell up. Until that day, lets hope Microsoft can do a little to thwart Sonys plans of complete domination. Xbox 360 is actually pretty good!
Even i do like other consoles, i just can't forget the dreamcast. It's the best console of all time and it's sad that sega has pulled out of hardware business the way they did. I miss sega and am looking forward to see them in action once more.

sega was the only gaming company that ever truly satisfy me as a devoted fan in terms of high quality games and it's great history of being the most innovative and enriched with creativity than all of it's competitors. i rather play the genesis than the ps3 and xbox360 combined because it's not all about graphics and online capability but it's about great games with good stories and originality that creates a true fan. if there was a new sega console then it should be known as the "sega phoenix" for resurrection. it should be backward compatible that can play old sega games for dc, saturn, sega cd, genesis, master system or just have a collection for each previous systems. it should play dvd movies and have great online features to compete gamers around the world. we need the support from every third party developers we can get like sony did with the first playstation back in the mid 90's. don't just rely on your mascot to save you sega you have plenty of great classic games other than sonic (sony has no mascot and look at how they turn out) also the price of the system must be low because we're not paying $600 for a ps3 that's crazy. also the system and controller must appeal to a wide audience such as don't make it too big like atari jaguar and kids like to take their system to a friends house for party so make it versatile for a kid to put in a backpack to show it off for school. we need to bring back the classic game franchises where is phantasy star 5? wonder boy monster world series? valis? shining force? streets of rage? i see golden axe being revived so why not the other ones as well so call the companies get the license and let's make it happen (no excuses) we need great advertisement and marketing decisions. i hope this will satisfy everyone

YES! After the plans and ideas for the DreamCast2 were sold to Microsoft and redesigned as the original xbox (supposedly), i knew that sega needed to get back in the hardware biz. hopefully theyll have learned from their horrible marketing failures (saturn and DC) and will put more thought into it the next time around. I MISS SEGA!

Sega is the best they made very good classic arcade games such as street fighter, house of the dead etc. They had great consoles such as the dreamcast, megadrive and the genesis their gaming was so addictive, maybe that's why their games still exist today. If they released a new console it would kick sonys, xbox and gamecubes arse.I still play sega games till this day. Go sega

The Dreamcast was the most innovative system ever created. A true masterpiece. Someone needs to take down the unoriginal idiots at Microsoft and Sony. Us old school gamers support you and hate EA-esque companies that lack originality. Bring back the good old days.

Long live SEGA!! It was always better than its competition! Get in there again and show 'em how it's done! We're down, but not out. We might have to wait a bit for microsoft, sony, or nintendo to stop manufacturing consoles, but it's worth the wait if it will make the mighty SEGA come back. SEEEGAAAAA!!!
Becase I think it's time they get back into the concle business if they want to start slow then put out an handheld. it's about time there be three compeditor in the handheld market.
Sega may have had financial troubles that led to a premature end to the Dreamcast, but in all, the system is a fantastic piece of hardware, with the ability to realize its potential faster, easier, and cheaper than any other system before, or after, it.
I support this petition because I believe that Sega should step in... even at the very least, maybe remanufacturing some of the old dreamcast hardware and peripherals for those of us that want to keep alive and/or max out our systems (and that didn't get the broadband adapter when it was initially available :( ).
I would like to see Sega return, because it would be like the legendary phoenix rising from its ashes to be better and stronger than before.

I remember being laughed at for having everything that sega put out. While everyones was stuck on nintendo i was still playing genisis and Dreamcast. Ever since I played the origonal Sonic I've LOVED Sega, and I only bought Sega video game consoles up untill you stopped making them. I also would love to see that little blue hedgehog back at home on a sega console as would many many others out there.

I love the Sega. Sega games, and especially the old school sega mega drive. Sega should get back on it's feet, as did nintendo. At least release a handheld if not a video game console

as a nintendo fan i don't like that sony did a flawless victory on sega.. i want a 50% market share between nintendo and sega. They are the only console manufactures true to gaming.. microsoft and sony don't care about gamers... they just want more money. M$ and $ony are GREEDY PIGS... i don't trust either of them.
sega does need to work on 2 out of 4 things though. sega's graphics and originality are supreme... but audio and gameplay suffer alot these days
