i think that anyone over the age of 12 should be allowed to have a job becasue our parents dont give us money and if you get paid for chours you dont get paid much. i myself only get paid $5 a week and there is alot of stuff on my list of chours. and if i even forget to brush my hair one day i will lose all my money for the week but if i forget a second time i get grounded. its about time im allowed a job. i just turned 13 and yet noone in my faimly thinks i could or should get a job and its not fair.

1.if your family is having money issues and you aren't young enough to have a job, I think we should be able to support our families.
2. If we want something and our parents won't lend us the money and we would have to save for like two years to get it with our allowance,thats not fair. I think we should be able to purchase what we want when we want.

I support this petition, people should think about how we are meturing and how we need to ern our own money. Though you could start your own business around the neighborhood such as mowing lawns, washing cars,ask your parents if you can do stuff for pay around the house, and try to be paitent about things.

I am a mum of two boys who are and ten and 13 - coming fourteen, and the older of the two has been trying to find 'gainfull' employment. He want's to be responsible and learn how to manage money and also gain some maturity and experience.No one wil employ him.I worked when I was ten - a paper route and by the time I was 12 I helped out in a vet clinic then exercised race horses on a farm.It sure didn't hurt me any and I think to this day I carry the experience of working as a young person benefited me - to this day.I think this is a fabulous petition and you should be commended. I wish you much luck.By the way to have a paper route where we live one must have vehicle and it is not safe to be out before sunrise without a parent - 3.00am.
