i agree with this as well. You see...my friend was seriously bored so he hung around after school and met his friends..it was then when he started smoking and drinking with his friends. i think if he actually had something to do at that time like maybe WORKING?!?! and spending his time while getting money in return!!!?! this wouldnt have happened. not only that but just because someone is 12 years old doesnt mean that their family doesnt need some extra cash or anything >.> they need it!!! if theyre willing to work earn it themselves, WHY NOT LET THEM?!
I agree im a 12 year old kid and I NEED MONEY!! i\'ve been needing money to pay mmy mom the money i owe her from buying me the tems i wanted and she keeps all the cash that i owe for her plus i wont ned to beg for something!
I think that we should be able to get jobs because it is hard to earn money from alowance and we are more independent but we can bearily make enough money to go to the movies or mall
i am always needing money but but because i am only 12 i get sad that i can't go looking for a job to ern mony because my family isnt exsactly rich but not poor but they cant afford to go and give me money when i need it.
people who want to work that are under 14 should be allowed because the might really need the extra money for their collage education so LET KIDS WORK!!!

omg.i am 12. i reallly want a job 2.but....then....i dont.because i want to feel independent but if my parents drive me to work then there isnt much idependence in that.and i would have to work looong hours in order to have more than $20 left after taxes are taken out.also i luuv hangin with ma friends. but if i have a job that actually pays good money thani wont have time for that.and especially. if i walked into say abercrombie.and i saw a bunch of 12 year olds working their. it would be wierd.not to mention unless they are really tall they probably couldnt see over the counter.so then on that note.i guess it really wouldnt be good for 12 yearolds to have jobs!p.s. I still cant wait til the time comes for me to get a car and job:)
please let kids twelve and older be able to have jobs because twelve is the pure presure age when theirs nothing to do and you just think you got to do drugs but if we had jobs we wouldn't have time tothat kind of non sense and we wouldn't need to nag our parents about needing money! and if you have a heart please make it possible for12 years and older to have jobs and be paid for it! thank you for your time just please give a thought about it atleast!

i agree with everyone who has wrote somethinkk.it is not fair..i want a jobb.my mum says that if i want a job i can have a job, its the matter of finiding one..and no-one lets you..i dont want to go around asking neighbours if they need there lawn mowed or some other crap i believe that if 12 year olds want a job tehy should be able to have one!

Sice christmas is approaching kids just ask their parents for money to buy presents but technically the parents are buying the presents and we want to earn our own money instead of having to save every cent you get during the year cause then you cant go to the movies or do anything with your friends thats why i support this

i want a job !!!! i need moni to get my 1 gig memory stick for my psp, bcuz i had one and some1 stole it it cost me $130! and yes, i did pay it. i got that moni from my aunt, shes always sending me bens for my birthday. but i need more bens in my pocket at least to get a new 1 gig memory stck. i cant alwayz ask her for moni when i need it!!!!!!!!!!!!
