I remember my first football game being NFL 2K1 on the Dreamcast and ever since than I loved the game. In 2004, the NFL Player\'s Association and EA Sports came to a deal to give the Madden franchise and EA Sports exclusive rights to develop games under the NFL brand, killing the beloved NFL 2K series. Honestly, competition is best for the consumer and I can honestly say that Madden is getting worse year after year because EA Sports knows they are the only option for football fans. I was waiting for 2009 because it marked the end of this abyss, Madden\'s reign over the football game industry was coming to an end but before I knew it, the deal was locked up for an extension until 2012. Let\'s send a petition 500,000 strong to the NFL Player\'s Association to let go of this petty deal and bring back the beloved 2K Series that I grew up loving and hopefully you feel the same way. Let\'s fight the tyranny of EA, they raise their prices year after year just because they know people will buy it, we\'re in a recession we need to save every dollar. Honestly, another football gaming series will just bring up the value of the games by bringing down the price of the games, and raising the bar for gaming value.
