Resignation of NHL VPs Campbell and Mike Murphy
Published March 10, 2011
With the recent lack of disciplinary measures by National Hockey League Vice-Presidents Colin Campbell and Mike Murphy, I submit this petition, asking for both their resignations.

Hits that have occured on players Sydney Crosby, David Booth, Marc Savard, and most recently, Max Pacioretty, have shown a lack of integrity and consistency on the part of the Disciplinary Department of the National Hockey League.

Questions about nepotism have arisen as well, since the aforementioned Mr. Campbell's son, Gregory, plays in the league. With the recent email controversy that arose involving Mr.Campbell and his son, his resignation is necessary to bring back a level of integrity to the league's head office.

As ask that you join me in this endeavor. For those of us who cover and love the game of hockey, protecting its players is paramount. Signing this petition would be the first step having our collective voices heard.

Sincerely,

Coach K
