For awhile now, games distributed to all systems have always been cut in half or canceled when it comes to Nintendo. Take for instance the newest examples in the tony hawk franchise. Last year for the release of Project 8 from the tony hawk franchise; sony and microsoft distibuted the game to their systems, but nintendo came up with the Tony Hawk Downhill Jam. Although Downhill Jam was a fun game, it still didn't make up for the fact that Project 8 wasn't released for the wii.

Now we have had the wii for about a year now, but online play is growing very slow. after a year only about 2-5 games were released that were online. with only Super Smash Bros. to look forward to. We still don't have a wide selection of online games out, or to look forward to. Not to metion that the only way to play online for the current online games is to swap wii account numbers with each other, which means your not meeting new people like you can on the microsoft systems.

A year later, the highly anticipated Proving Grounds from the Tony Hawk franchise, was released. And thankfully it was released for the Wii. probably the most anticipated feature of the game was the video editor mode that allowed you to edit clips and share you films with friends online. I bought the game hoping to find this feature and share my footage with my wii friends. But i was shocked to fiind out that this feature wasn't included in the wii's edition of the game. So i was highly dissappointed with Nintendo.

I've been with Nintendo since i was 3 years old. I've had the super Nintendo, the N64, the Gamecube, the gameboy color, advanced, sp, and original. And now the new Nintendo wii. I haven't owned a system from any other company but Nintendo, and I am a huge fan of everything they make. In fact, their games are the reason i shun the other gaming companies. But i think Nintendo should make agreements with sony and microsoft. I think that Nintendo should make more online content, and distibute full versions of games instead of "make-up" versions or half-cut versions such as the for-mentioned games. So even though the systems are at war over which is best, the only way to make gaming better is for gaming companies to work together. Microsoft and Sony from time to time may out of generosity distibute their games or software to Nintendo, but mainly Sony and Microsoft work with each other more than Nintendo. So i think that if enough people think the way i do, we might have better games and software for all gaming companies, and we wouldn't need to have half-cut games. This not only helps gamers, but gaming companies, because it creates more money for the companies if they distribute their products to other systems. Such as when Rockstar started to work with Microsoft and Sony. All three companies came to a compromise and it made gamers and companies happy. the same is true to happen with Bunjie since it decided to work with different companies instead of just Microsoft. So instead of just agruing or not working on the games to better them, Nintendo, and all companies, should try to make better games and content for the systems and online play. especially since the wii's system has an online function that's barly even used.
