I support this petition, I have told friends about the name Wii, and they all were confused, this cannot be a good sign. It might work in Japan, but in the States, it sounds really wrong.
Im a big fan of nintendo, always have always will be, I remember when I was five I played Super mario all day long, then i got the SNES, it was calles super nintendo, weird name but it was the 90's nobody cares, the same with the 64, then the gamecube came along, obcourse I bought it, but c'mon, Gamecube?! You couldnt make a cool name like X box to microsoft or ps2 to Sony, no had to be gamecube, jesus christ... Years later I heard of the revolution, not only will it be awesome, with the unique controller, and to be able to download old games and wi fi gaming, IT ACTUALLY HAD A COOL NAME!! and just this morning, I heard they changed the name to... Wii... What the hell is THAT?! I mean no disrespect to the big N, im a big fan but c'mon Revolution was so much cooler that people were gonna notice it, and no more will the Big N console will be known as the kiddy console, no but you just HAD o change the name to Wii, I mean c'mon everyone I know says that maybe the Revolution is gonna be awesome, and know that I tell them about Wii, they all laughed, god is that what the Nintendo wants c'mon!! ok I'll end it here, please change the name, to anything cool like Revolution or something else like well I dont know Nexus, or something, this Stryks, from Mexico.

because Revolution was simply a perfect name, much moreappealing to users than Wii could ever be. Nintendo is the best and has to take back the first place in his cathegory

I'm a french Canadian (from Quebec) and here the name Wii sound really stupide! Wii means ''yes'' in my language, that stupide! I dont want to play on a ''Yes'', but on a REVOLUTION!

Just heard about Wii, never heard something so demoralising since the Nintendo Ultra 64 dropped the ultra. Just hope it is a fake.
