I support this petition & I also support the show for breaking ground, but I do have one suggestion or should I say comment. Is it possible to make the characters more MANLY. Not all gay black men appreciate being portrayed as OVER THE EDGE effeminate people and I think you should introduce a more DL, but not ashamed of his sexuality type of characters, so we can be seen as a more positive role model than just another group of screaming snap queens with a sharp come back for everthing. Just a suggestion to get more viewers. As he show runs now. Its like a training film for the gay world and we live for the one liners & drama only. I think we have some more space in our brains for more substance. Just a thought, but I'll keep watching :)
I support this petition. Because this show is a refreshing look at the life of a gay black male. It give people who watch a real look at what the black gay experience is like. To renew this show is true to be inclusive of the entire LGBTQ community and not just the ones we identify with. To really show that you are a network that is supportive of bring awareness to the world about what the gay experience is like you need to show all sides. We have had Queer as folk and Will and Grace to name two. Noah's Arc give the black experience which has really been missing from the media. I hope that you really are about being a network that is about breaking down walls, bring people to together and educating the world about the true LGBTQ experience.
