Someday soon people here in America will need to be better able to protect themselves. Also the laws of states like Tennessee NEEDS to have laws that allow people to defend themselves without being convicted of a serious crime. This is A POLICE STATE RULED BY THE BLUE MAFIA!

Incredible how our duly elected representatives think they can disarm the populace just like in Nazi Germany. We need to understand this is only a prologue to total gun seizures. When the first perp blasts someone with a "banned" gun, they will say, "darn, I guess that law didn't work, what we need to do is TAKE them from everyone. Yeah, that's the ticket."

This is tyranny of the elite, give me liberty or death,we can have no security without it...The great object is,that every man be armed...Everyone who is able may have a gun.PATRICK HENRY HERE HERE!

To debate the semantics of the practicality, danger, or aesthetics of assault weapons over other weapons, is a trap to rationalize an attack on our freedoms. But when a liberty comes under attack, especially one so controversial as gun control, it is easy to allow it to wane to some degree. But every step back from liberty is a step in the wrong direction. Every usurpation of our rights, no matter how small, is a step in the direction of tyranny.

Predominately handguns were used in the assaults on officers and all but one were obtained illegally, usually in street transactions or in thefts. In contrast to media myth, none of the firearms in the study was obtained from gun shows. What was [i]available[/] "was the overriding factor in weapon choice," the report says. Only 1 offender hand-picked a particular gun "because he felt it would do the most damage to a human being." Researcher Davis, in a presentation and discussion for the International Assn. of Chiefs of Police, noted that none of the attackers interviewed was "hindered by any law--federal, state or local--that has ever been established to prevent gun ownership. They just laughed at gun laws."
