If Joe Jackson and Pete Rose can't get in then why should Barry Bonds or any other "cheater" be allowed in. Whether it's throwing games, betting, or steriod use it's all cheating.

I hate Barry Bonds!!! On top of being a cheater, he's also one of the biggest jerks in sports! My cousin met him before a game and asked for an autograph, and Bonds said no and walked away. It seems strange to me that someone being accused of steroid use would not go toe to toe with the individuals making the accusations in the book. Also, it amazes me how far an individual would go to protect him. (i.e. do jail time for him) If it were me, and it was a lie, I would go after them with everything I had. By not doing anything, gives the appearance/perception of something to hide. By the way, I don't believe that any individual should go into a Hall of Fame if it is a team sport. Your only as good as your team. If it's an individual sport, yes there should be a Hall of Fame. Really the bottom line is the almighty buck anyway. Praise Yahweh and give Him all the glory

Why should a man who cheated pass a man who worked for that spot. He makes me sick and seeing people actually cheer for that guy made me even more turned off. I love the Yankees and even if it was Giambi I wouldnt want him to get it either.

I agree completely. Why should he get in when probably more than half of his homeruns were NOT hit steroid free? He's a total loser and jerk and if he's put in the Hall of Fame, it will be one of, if not the worst and most unfair thing ever done in the history of baseball. Come on people, let's protect America's past time and not praise cheaters!
