We the undersigned are students of Ontario colleges, and we do not want OPSEU to go on strike. We encourage both sides to explore all avenues before any strike occurs.

As students, we feel it is unfair that our education is thrown to the sideline for the sake of petty fighting.

If a strike occurs, we will either lose our entire term, or have to extend the winter term into the summer which would affect thousands of students who rely on summer employment to remain in college.

Therefore, we call on the colleges, OPSEU, and the provincial government to avert a strike by all means, and put the students first.

If a strike occurs, students will either lose our entire term, or have to extend the winter term into the summer which would affect thousands who rely on summer employment to remain in college.
