The following petition was created to protest the addition of a new character (Elena Delgado) on the CBS show, Without a Trace.

We, the Undersigned, feel that the addition of this character is both uncalled for, and completely unnecessary.

Over the past three years, we loyal viewers have become quite attached to the team of five. Adding a new character to the team alters its dynamic in ways that are irreversible. In addition to this, it also takes away screen time from our much beloved characters, lessen our attachment to these characters and making us feel disconnected from the core heart that makes this show distinct.

We have come to know and love the team as it is, hence anything that alters it (as only a new character can) will undoubtedly diminish our viewing experience, forcing us to seek entertainment elsewhere. Elena Delgado's presence takes away from story lines already in progress, unnecessarily complicating what is normal an interesting, intense and unique show.

Please, CBS. Please, Warner Bros Television. And please, Hank Steinberg, don't destroy something we have come to love and appreciate. Please leave the team the way it is, allowing us to keep our core five, without altering it by adding unwanted new team members.

I can't understand her because she talks too fast. Plus, she's completely ruining the Danny/Martin ship! Can it get anymore terrible than that?
