She's taking away from the show. I liked the show just fine the way it was. She can't act, I can't understand her when she speaks, and their certainly doesn't need to be another relationship/sex amongst the team members.
please keep it to the main team.Its not necessary to put an other character into the show,that decreases the developement of each character! she also takes screentime and nobody is interestet in her and her way she acts.
Unlike a lot of people, I like a little eye candy in my show, but geez, could you have picked a worse actress? Next to Sam she looks like something my dog would roll on.
Also, she really doesn't fit in with the rest of the cast.
Time after time good TV shows try to shake things up, improve on ratings. Quality invariably suffers. Ratings are already good so don't lose your loyal viewers that you've had from the start. Keep it simple. Keep it to the main team.
Mr. Steinberg, I'm signing this petititon, because the character of Elena Delgado is pointless to me. I realize you want to shake things up, that you have given her a past with Danny. However, I rather learn more about Danny via his continued guilt/PTSD reaction to the shooting and Martin nearly dying. I rather see more of Vivian, as well. And since the addition of Elena, there hasn't been enough Vivian, or Danny for that matter. The core five characters are wonderful, there are other ways to shake things up with out adding an outside character, with the cliche promise of romance with one of the main characters. Which I find very upsetting consider you have stated Danny hates her. Also, I have to say that I'm not feeling any connection to the character of Elena, at all. She feels robotic to me and I don't believe Roselyn Sanchez fits in with the outstanding cast you already have.
I am not against the addition of new characters in general. Unfortunately, the addition of Elena Delgado and her excessive screen time is really turning me off from the show. Her acting skills are sub par.
Elena needs to go. She's screwing with the group dynamic and taking away screen time from the other actors who didn't have enough screen time to begin with!
I can't even begin to express how much Elena's pressence takes away from the show. She's terrible and doesn't fit in at all. We want our original 5! No more.
And if you keep her, at least *feed* her -- it looks like a strong breeze will snap her in half, which is just not believable in an FBI agent OR a former cop.
Elena is a totally unnecessary character. And she really doesn't do anything relevant so get rid of her! We already had a coat hanger in the show, thank you very much.
You had a fantatstic balance with your original five agents, you just needed to share the screen time better. What you did *not* need to do was add an unnecessary agent, who mumbles throughout the episode and has no chemistry with anyone. Please, send her to White Collar and give all her screen time to Viv.
Personally, I don't think the screen-time is divided equally enough for the five main characters we do have. Please get her gone. (and give Viv and Danny some more screentime too)

Get rid of her for Christ's sake, she doesn't do the series any good, she's an annoyance that needs to be got rid off ages ago... She never should've appeared on screen, full stop.
I have nothing agains Elena personally, but I fail to understand why she was added to the cast. There was no need whatsoever. Every case was solved and there was never any hint on the show that the team was understaffed. Therefore, I believe Elena is just there to look beautiful and takes away too much screentime from the other characters. And that is just unacceptable.
Elena is an unecessary addition to an already fantastic team. Several other characters are quite underused and it would be wonderful to see them have screen time. The new focus on Elena has pushed the rest of the team to the background. I have stopped watching simply because of this new addition. Please do all the devoted fans a favor and take her off the show.

I knew it was a mistake when I heard about adding another character to the cast of Without a Trace. Now, after having watched three episodes with the new "agent", I am close to giving up on a TV show I've been watching since the first season. Please, I beg you: get rid of Elena. The character is boring and wooden. She doesn't serve any purpose at all. The thought of pairing her and Danny up makes me nauseous. Please spare us fans these soap opera tendencies and get back to the way the show was in season one - good writing, interesting cases that made us care for the disappeared persons, and here and there a tiny glimpse into the private lives of the characters. I'd be sad to see a show with such great potential go down the drain - and I certainly won't stick around to watch its demise that will follow if you keep Elena around and start changing the show and the dynamics viewers have come to love over the past three years. The thing you did with Martin and Samantha was bad enough, but this? Is just downright aweful. You already have a fantastic cast. With the addition of the sixth character some members of this cast are now getting even less screen time than they got before. Make use of the them - and get rid of Elena.
There was no need for a new character, especially since two of the main characters are already underused (Vivian mostly, and then Danny compared to the whole Martin/Sam/Jack story). I like the many great plots but I come back because of the characters. I want to keep on caring for them and for that I have to get to know them better. Adding a new character is only splitting the focus even more. Very bad idea. Not to mention, the character of Elena hasn't been appealing at all so far.
I can't see how the addition of Elana does anything but take away the already limited screen time of the five original cast members. There are still so many stories to tell about them, and am feeling like we'll be cheated out of that because there is now a sixth character who will be taking screen time.
There are so many story arcs with the five existing characters, all demanding a lot of screen time and it does nothing but hurt the show to try to cram another character into an already good show.
The addtion of this new character not only takes away from the screen time of other well loved characters, i.e. Danny Taylor and Vivian Johnson; she also brings in a soapoprea-esque story line that isn't needed. Didn't you producers learn your lesson with the whole Sam/Martin fiasco? We fans want to see the show as it was in season one, a strong team and even stronger storylines. Please CBS, don't ruin my show.

Please let Elena Degado be only a temporary solution. There's plenty of storylines that should be explored instead. Let's focus on the original characters, that's all we want.
A 6th character doesn't make sense here. There's already 5 very interesting characters and some of them are really underused. Get the original cast back, please!

Elena is just not interesting. People watch the shows for the characters, and the cases. But what keeps them returning, is the characters. They want to care about them, and learn what makes them tick. I'm afraid that Elena doesn't do that for me. Some people may say 'Give her time', but it's already been three episodes, and I REALLY can't stand her.
Please, please write her out, and return the show to it's basics, with the 5 team members we know and love: Jack, Samantha, Vivian, Danny and Martin.
This so-called actress (Sanchez)can't pull anything off. She's unexpressive, unpleasant, annoying, both as character and as actress.
We love WaT and the original cast is already complete, they have such an alchemy. Don't let it wasted. A new member is totally unneeded and harmful to the show dynamics.

I believe that as a loyal viewer you should keep the show as the core actors that we as fans have come to enjoy watching. In my opinion the new character of Elena didn't add anything new to the complex of the show or the other characters. Please take this petition into consideration reguarding the character of Elena.

No offence to the actress, but when Viv is so wasted, why do you need Elena, just because she is so-called 'younger' and 'hotter', what in insult to a talent like Marianne. Sorry Elena you are not worth the loss of Viv
