The war on drugs is a fruitless one. Marijuana legislation affects all taxpayers under governments that suppress the leaf. Families of those against whom legal action is taken must also undergo significant emotional turmoil before, during, and after sentencing, causing the scope to be not only economic but also social. From bogus experiments to wreckless and devastating propaganda efforts, marijuana has been put into an undeservingly negative light. It's medicinal and practical uses have been downplayed and virtually ignored. An increasing burden has been forced on the American taxpayer to fund an irrational, incredible, and immoral battle directed toward a mere leaf that grows on the embankments of country roads. It is our goal to strive toward relieving this burden on taxpayers and counter much of the propaganda by decriminalizing marijuana.
