We love Wes Anderson's movies, but the slow-motion sequences set to music are not only getting excessive, predictable, and uninteresting, they're just self-indulgent. Wes, if you think you're saying something by doing a slow-motion scene every five minutes, you need an intervention, and this just might be it. Stop it! To prove that we love you and love your movies, though, we're putting forward this suggestion -- every time you want to do a slow-mo scene, you should do something equally silly! Do fast-motion! Or sepia-tone! Or do the whole scene with animatronic tigers instead of people. Just no more slow-motion, please? For one movie, at least, no slow-motion. Just give it a shot, see if it works. You can totally go back to using slow-motion afterwards.
