One thing to keep in mind, though, is that OU made clear that their rivalries with Texas and Okie State were more important when the Big XII was formed. But I miss those days when we played them for all the conference marbles.
I miss the days of Johnny Rodgers running back a punt to win the heisman and Eric Crouch to catch a 60 yard pass to win the heisman. If Nebraska wants to lock up more Heismans we need to play Oklahoma. GO BIG RED!

I can't believe this game is not played every year. This was one of the best rivalries in all of sports, let alone college football. There was nothing like the day after Thanksgiving game between the two teams. There is no place like Nebraska!
I remember watching this rivalry growing up and nothing beat oklahoma and Nebraska. Bring back the true rivalry by instead of playing another non conference game on years we are not suppose to meet we will each play two non conference game that year and instead play each other. That will make it to where we can play each other every year and restore college football true top rivalry. Go huskers!

If I look up "Rivalry" in the dictionary, there is a picture of NU-OU...NOT NU-CU!!! Besides how can a CU call this a rivalry when the past 45 year series record 38-6-1 for NU???
