There is an old run down mobile home located on an overgrown abandoned lot next to 5265 Airline highway that was brought there about 3 years ago and presently occupied by vagrants and prostitutes. This property is being used by burglars and dope dealers 24 hours a day. There was a truck load of stolen items recovered there on 12/06/06. However not an arrest was made although people were occupying the trailer at the time. The owner of the used car lot is constantly having to call police concerning the occupants trashing the place and dealing their wares on his property. ( prostitutes dope stolen things )
The occupants claim the property is owned by relatives and they have permission to be there. This is not proven.
This properety has no utilities whatsoever and has a mountain of garbage and rubbish all over it.
The other close by residents have a very real problem with rats from there. ( human and vermin )
Criminal activity is a daly occurance clearly visible and although police are called often, very little is actually done about it.

We as petitioners pray the Honorable Mayor Kip Holden and his office can help us to rid our neighborhood of this PUBLIC NUSANCE.
