Halo:ODST, Credit back for maps already owned

Dear Bungie,
We, the Xbox community have made you very successful. Just two short years ago we made Halo 3 the biggest video game in video game history. Many of us were excited at the news of Halo:ODST, especially when it was said to have new multiplayer maps and to be priced less than a full game.
Well, as of late the price of the game has been said to have climbed up to the full price point of a new game, but some of us are willing to look past that due to the growing amount of content in the game.
The purpose of this petition is to ask that you give everyone who has purchased recent Halo 3 map packs, specifically the Mythic Map pack, credit back for purchase price once Halo:ODST is released. Requiring players to purchase add ons in order to access all of the content that they have already had access to is shady. On top of that when you put this requirement in place a few short months before these maps will be available on the new game, it jsut feels dirt.
What is the deal Bungie? Has the recession hurt you so much that you have to double dip on your loyal fans?
We the undersigned are declaring that we will not purchase Halo:ODST until Bungie verifies that credit will be given to every Xbox Live account for the purchase of the Mythic Map Packs once the account holder has purchased Halo:ODST.
