I support I am writing Nick right now and think there should be a Channel dedicated to Old Nick shows and I didn't have Disney as a kid due to were I lived but im sure the shows where better back in the day.

I support this petition. I miss these shows, too. I"m only 18, but I loved them as a kid. I'd love to watch them again & see them from an adult view, ya know? To see how different I think. It would just bring back a lot of childhood memories. Like, in elementary school, my best friend lived across the street from me (Mindy) & we would run home about 3 blocks from school. We would run to my house, turn the tv to "Are You Afraid of the Dark" & we would open the door in the living room & sit right in the open door. SO that if anything scarry was in the house we could just run across to her house. We were so scared, but we LOVED it. I miss those memories. I'd love to relive them.

Old school cartoons forever. These new ones are filthy and very non-entertaining. Too much toilet humor and nonsense or boring plots. A lot these new shows will NEVER EVER be friggin classics like shows like Tiny Toons or DuckTales is. They need to take all of this trash off the air and show wholesome shows again. I grew up watching shows like "Gala Gala Island", "The Busytown of Richard Scarry", etc. and then moving on to watching things like "So Weird" and "Clarrissa Explains It All" and "The Secret Life of Alex Mack" and "Are You Afraid of the Dark." I also think the "Original All That" with cast member like Kennen and Kel was the best one. I really think Disney and Nick should at least show all of these in reruns!! All the shows they have now are either unoriginal, too educational = boring, too cheesy or all of the above!!

I support this decision highly. Nickelodeon used to be a show that not only children were able to watch, but young teens and even older teens. Now its all cartoon or bubblegum poppy shows for kids ages 13 and under. These shows that are airing now are just sucking the ratings away from Nickelodeon television. When Nick had shows such as "Pete and Pete," "Salute Your Shorts," and "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" people loved to watch them. Nowadays everyone has to suffer without these shows..especially since Nick probably isn't releasing them on DVD. I'm just supporting this petition to bring back all of the old Nick shows for the sake of the people who still love and miss them. At least put them on rerun or DVD for god's sake.
