I always wachted theese shows.And now that they are not on it's not so fun to wacht nickelodeon anymore.I wacht all that but I liked the old all that better.One of the shows that I wachted is Zoey 101 but the show Cousin Skeeter is so much better than what we wacht now.Let us wacht the old shows are Iam not going to wacht nickelodeon again.p.s.iam sereis!!!!!! If Doug doesn't come out on DVD soon, I'll go crazy. Doug was the coolest cartoon ever. He was the Charlie Brown of my generation: he was unattractive, unpopular, but really cool and really funny. He was the cartoon version of almost every 11 year old in America. PUT DOUG ON DVD OR ELSE!
you KNOW i used to watch these shows! Are You Afraid of the Dark was my favorite. I even had a favorite episode- "Deadman's Float". Angry beavers were awesome & Clarissa Explains It All, Definietly Rocko's Modern Life, and I really like Legends of the Hidden Temple too...but u forgot AAA REAL MONSTERS! I think nickelodeon had too many good things and couldn't deal with it. They had Invader Zim on there recently... loved it, but so I heard, it's been canceled. I'm displeased Nickelodeon. Very displeased.

Hey Arnold, Doug, Kenan and Kel, Are You Afraid of the Dark. They were all great. Nickelodeon should bring back every single one of their classics and get rid of the junk they put on now like My Dad is a Rock Star, the Teenage Robot show, All Grown Up. There would be so many more people watching their channel if they did.
If Nickelodeon refuses to bring back classics like Doug and Pete & Pete, they should at least make a new channel that shows all the classics. I would love to watch Doug everyday, along with Ren & Stimpy, Clarissa Explains it All, Pete & Pete and all the other Nick shows I grew up watching. But, especially Doug because I believe every person can relate to at least one of the characters in a way. For instance, I can relate to Doug's love affair with Pattie Mayonnaise. It was hard for him to find the courage to tell her how he felt about her. I am sure others can relate to growing up just like Doug Funnie. In a way it is very inspirational and educational, much unlike 90% of the shows shown on Nick today. Bring back the classics like Doug, or give us, the people a way to watch our favorite Nick classics just like the 80's- early 90's. PLEASE! BRING BACK DOUG!!!!!!!!!

I too as a baby am VERY mad to see all these nick classics dissapear. heck even ive changed! they made me a teenager in the show "All Grown Up" if u ask me that show should be called "All FED Up" even though my show is still on nick, it only shows about once a day at 6 am! And other shows are terribly missed! all the classics are the bestest shows i ever sawed! I MISS THEM!! WAAAAA!

"Doug" is a classic television show. It is my favorite cartoon ever. How could the people over in the Nick studios air shows like "My Dad is a Rockstar" and "My Life As a Teenage Robot" when classics like "DOUG" are the ones really deserving the air-time. Doug is not the only show I would like to bring back. Rocko's Modern Life and Ren & Stimpy are also classics. I will stand behind my love for Doug forever. Honker Burger 4 Life! How many times have you said "I miss Doug/Are You Afraid of the Dark/Rocko's Modern Life/Angry Beavers.... This new stuff is ruining tv. When did nickelodeon care about all of this teenage love crap. These new shows aren't even funny. The old shows had a power to be funny and cool without having the characters being stupid morons. (ahem...Drake and Josh...cough) I remember actually being able to relate to problems the characters had back in the day. At that age we all feared the doctor, we were all scared to open our eyes during some movies, and we all had some intense addiction to some video game. 2 out of 3 of those are from Doug, but who cares. Today the creators are trying to find this that kids are doing, but instead of looking at real kids, they're looking at the media. Apparently, all kids magically know how to play guitar, are magically good at at least one type of sport, and are always with the latest styles. Come on Nick, make some real shows again.
Everything on here is what we need back. Where are the Nick morals anymore. Even Ren and Stimpy had better taste than some of these shows. All That(first couple seasons) needs to be a definant DVD Kenan Thompson and Lori Beth Dimberg Rock!
I loved these tv shows very much. When I saw that they didn't come on any more I wondered why? Just because the kids that played on the series grew up and wanted to play in different things doesn't mean that people didn't want to stop looking at the shows (even if they are reruns)
I would love to relive the good ol nick shows like rocko, my brother and me, kenan & kel the 1st few seasons of all that, Double Dare, Salute your shorts, Clarrisa, and you can't do that on televison. those are the shows I grew up watching.
I never watch Nickelodeon anymore for the simple fact that...it sucks. Since they took the old shows away it's just not interesting anymore. I used to love watching Are You Afraid of the Dark, Rocko, Angry Beavers, Clarissa etc. and now that they're gone I just watch other channels. I hope they bring em back it would definitaly be fun and most likely boost their ratings.
I was babysiting a couple of weeks ago and was watching Nick with the child, I have never heard of any of these shows-i was really upset that they no longer show the classics. Double Dare, Secret World of Alex Mack, EARLY All That, Kenan & Kel, OLD Rugrats, Rocko's Modern Life, Angry Beavers, Doug, The original SNICK, (Global) GUTS, Shelby Woo, Figure it out, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Clarissa Explains it All, Salute your shorts, Kaitlyn's Way, Pete and Pete, David the Gnome, 100 Deeds of Eddie McDought, and even Ren and Stimpy. I remember when I was little I would plant myself infront of my parents TV in their room and stayed there for hours whatching all of my fave tv shows. All of these much newers shows have no real purpose, rhyme or reason. I noticed that the children were laughing at disgusting and offensive jokes, not only was I not amused but I felt that I had to change the channel. I remember I always loved Nick over Cartoon Network (one reason why was because the shows on Cartoon Network creeped me out) I think you have now officially stooped to their gross level. If I had young kids I would much rather them watch some Animal Planet rather that Nickelodeon. I wish it could change - I would love to have my children watch the classic shows I watched when I was younger...
All the old nick shows should be put back on the air like. The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo,Kenan and Kel", "Doug", "Are You Afraid of the Dark" , "Clarissa Explains it all, the old all that, the old the amanda show, double dare, pete & pete, and the many other shows that rocked on Oldschool nick....... or wait they should have a whole other T.V. station call Oldskool Nick where all the old show are replayed. i think that just might work. and nick would make more $$$.
I personally think that the shows that are currently broadcasted on Nick are not as good as they used to be. I grew up with "Kenan and Kel", "Doug", "Are You Afraid of the Dark" , "Clarissa Explains it all". Those shows were my life. They taught me valuable lessons; lessons that i still value from today. Today's television shows are an extreme about of disapointment, not only to me, but to many others: this petition proves it. The shows now shown on Nick teach students nothing. Most of them are for very young children, and the last time i checked, Nick wasn't only for toddlers. By not putting the old shows back on air, not only will the old viewers not be interested at all, but Nick would then lose a lot of money. If you put old shows back on the air, Nick would most likely gain more of an audience, and more money.
Are you afraid of the dark, was the best show on the list, you guys really need to bring that back, it would make alot of people happy, and you would have a million more viewers!!!

I agree with everyone else who signed the petition. The old Nick shows are way much better and soon Nick has to realize that they are way much better than the shows they are airing right now. Doing this will get Nickelodeon back on the number one spot on the charts that concern "entertaining channels". So Nickelodeon if you can't do that, then at least release these awesone shows on DVD Please! Do it for the original fans!

The old school Nickelodeon I remember was something my sister and I used to watch all day, every day. Shows like "Today's Special", "Finder's Keepers", "Mr. Wizard's World", "You Can't Do That On Television", "Double Dare", "Salute Your Shorts", "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"...the list goes on. This was the golden age of children's television. A magical time when each one of these shows stood apart from everything else on all the other channels. Shows that, in some aspect, stand the test of time. I want my kids to see these shows instead the mindless drivel they're watching now. I can't stress enough how wonderful it would be if we had an "Old School Nickelodeon" channel! Think about it...a new channel that airs all the original shows and shorts that we remember from so many years ago. Obviously, in order to stand up financially, the station would have to air modern commercials, but it would be small price to pay for the joy of stepping into the time machine that would be the old school Nick line up. Anyone who has watched Nickelodeon in the last 10 or more years, not to mention most other children's programming, will probably agree with me that, "THEY JUST DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THAT ANYMORE." It's true! The variety and originality of the old Nickelodeon programming is simply unparalleled. If those who have the power take a close look, they'll find an extremely solid fan base for the old Nickelodeon. You might even call it a cult following because many of these shows haven't aired for almost 20 years and WE HAVE NEVER FORGOTTEN THEM! WE WANT THEM BACK! I think that Nickellodeon has more then enough time to bring back a few good classic shows like ledgons of the hidden temples, gullah gullah island ,salute your shorts, Hey dude,Guts,Wild and crazy kids,and many others.Kids would enjoy them way more then i think they do the ones that are on today there just not as fun to watch.I dont see why Nick couldnt take a few hours a day from some of the crappy shows that are on and put on some old somes. trust me the raitings would be high. i know i would watch,and i dont watch now because i really think the new shows are dumb.
