Please support more games for Windows that take advantage of Open GL technologies as opposed to the proprietary Direct X. If more games on Windows were coded to Open GL and development of Open GL graphics technology should continue to be improved to outperform or match Direct X versions 9
I am boycotting Microsoft's XBox video game consoles and Zune hand held devices for entertainment and will boycott future games for Windows. I bought a number of PC games for the Windows OS over the years and as I recently switched to Mac OS X have begun to buy more games gradually for Mac but even Mac will not help the situation since it is also proprietary. Linux gaming needs to be improved. Also OpenGL needs to be improved in Windows Vista don't let MS wreck Open GL for DirectX's benefit.
Come on. No one is going to use this stuff if your going to do a lazy and shitty job of it. Make drivers for gma 900 too..Theres no excuse for not supporting stuff. I just bought this computer last year :@
I have a lot of OpenGL software that I use for my business. I upgraded to Vista and lost most of it for my clients. Need a solution soon, otherwise, its back to XP for my windows environment.
Let the best man win! Provide adequate support for both - and if DirectX is truly the better competitor that ought to be enough. Don't hinder our freedom of choice though!
