There is a complaint about them at the OPC cuz they did some reparation without asking the owner first... They are a buncj of scum bags with expensive prices... but not only that! All their familly owns the jdm shops in st-léo such as tokyo motors etc... be aware

I support this petition. my sr20det also had a crack in the oil pan, which i repaired. i tried to contact jdm_planet only to find they don't exhist, but jdmworld_2008 replaced them, both are osaka and managed by that douce bag john......who told me they were not affiliated with each other even though e bay listed both being owned by osaka. now i have a motor with a bad bearing...and a supplier that won't back a 30 day warranty.
I'm not approving the way they do bussiness but you guys are fool enough to believe that engines from Japan comes with 25k miles on them because of some environmental law in Japan, you just deserve what is happening to you. Why would they cut every single wire, if they were replacing the engine?
Basically, you are buying old engines with a lot of mileage or stolen engines. Just take a look at classified ads for cars for sale in Japan and you'll quickly realize that yearly average mileage in Japan is around 10k miles. So, for a 1992 engine, expect 160k miles.
I got a S15 from Ebay from Jdm_Planet and I got the wrong ECU and Tranny , Basically I got a S14 Engine swap , finally I found out that Osaka Jdm Owns Jdm_planet on ebay , I only got half Money Refunded after returning the engine and took 4 months..Stay away from these Suckers

I recieved a 3sgte from osaka. They said it has 25k. It also has cut wires and is very dirty. Im getting it swaped. Im about to find out if ive been ripped off
I ordered a motor from Osaka, and they send the semi wrong motor. I ordered a blacktop SR20det and they sent me a redtop SR that for some reason had a red valve cover and red o2 extension. Had the motor put in and came to find out the turbo was blown, and the motor was knocking.
Osaka motors sent me a 13 b TII motor and when i recieved it, there was no compression and everything was rusted and all sensors were busted and throttle body and other parts were smashed. Osaka motors just said tough luck, and it's not their fault. Thanks a lot John. Ass hole!
I bought a Honda motor from Osaka, after waiting three weeks for the motor to arrive my mechanic says the motor must have at least 90,000 to 100,000 miles on it already. They are many defective items in the motor and they are not willing to replace. My fiance works for a world wide law firm and we are looking into filing a Class Action law suit against Osaka Motors. bought an engine came with cut harness..93 wires cut.. 6 bad coils.. no ignitor.. no MAS sensor.. 2 blown turbos...and a strew of other messed up money costing stuff.. after calling them over and over they hung up on me and said tuff luck, you ordered and no warranty... i want them closed... go to JHOT from now on!
My fiance bought a 1jz out of a soarer from osaka. First off it had a cut wiring harness. Then when we finally got a new wiring harness from Japan. The turbos in the engine were bad. So they sent us a new turbo and it doesn't even go to a 1jz.

they send me a b16 swap with a blown transmission i had to pay money to install it and money to remove it then they told me that i put in the transmission and blew it my self my spent 5 months before they finally sent me my money back
MAN OSAKA, SUCKS I ORDER A H22A FOR MY PRELUDE AND IT SUCKS. EVERYTHING IS JACKED UP. ALL THE PARTS ARE RUSTY AND BROKEN. I HAVE TO SPEND SO MUCH MONEY FIXING IT.
WE PURCHASED AN ENGINE FOR MY SONS CAR FROM OSAKA. WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD RECEIVE IT IN 5-7 DAYS AFTER 3 WKS THEY SAID MOTOR LOST IN SHIPPING AND WOULD SEND NEW ONE. WE RECEIVED MOTOR FEW DAYS LATER BUT IT WAS WRONG MOTOR. OSAKA REFUSED TO SEND CORRECT ONE OR REFUND MONEY. NOW WE ARE STUCK WITH ENGINE WE CANNOT USE AND A CAR WITHOUT AN ENGINE.
