Hello, my name is Rob, and I attend The Packer Collegiate Institute. I think I’m a good person, but I have my flaw, but who doesn’t. Over the course of my current (sophomore) year, I have gotten in trouble for “harassing” other students. Mainly the people I “harassed” were my friends, a joke that was over heard and misinterpreted by teachers, still, it was wrong. Now, I find myself in a similar situation, with a twist. I am again in trouble for “harassing” another person; their name... will not be released. The person who I was mistreating, her friend is now out to get me, exploiting my situation to the fullest, taking every single little thing and bringing it to the school dean. Once again let me say, the position I am in right now is entirely my fault, and I accept full responsibility.

Recently I broke my wrist, and I have a cast on, what happened this time was a few of my friends wrote inappropriate things on my cast, this girl’s friend pointed them out to the grade dean, threw in a few more minute situations and I am now on the verge of expulsion.

I am not asking for people to work me out of a jam, just asking people who know me, and see my good points to express them here, maybe it will be the little glimmer of hope I need to stay at Packer.

In closing, let me point out that I love packer. It is my absolute favorite place to be, and the thought of losing it sends chills down my spine. Now that thought is a reality. I’ve made a few very bad decisions, but upon organizing my thought, I am ready to give it one last push. Thank you.

School should be about learning. It is where your mistakes are corrected. Kicking someone out of highschool can have a major effect on the rest of their life, is it really nessisary? Use this to teach, not punish.

I support this petition because Rob is a great asset to the Packer Community. Everyone knows that he can go over the top at times, but otherwise he's be great. It would be a horrible thing for Packer to see Rob expelled...

I support this petition. I believe that if this situation involves the livlihood of students in Packer it should be the decision of those students to determine the severity of the situation. Save Rob!

because i believe rob is a good guy. perhaps he has made mistakes in the past but i am sure that after a close call like this one he will definitly change his ways. Expultion is not the right course of action for this problem.

Because We've all been there, but Rob is kind of at fault.

I've only known Rob for a year, and although he makes mistakes, they are no reason for him to be expelled.

Rob is a good kid, and, hell, though it may not be right, we all like to joke around every once in a while. Yes, it's hard for the school authorities to get this straight in their heads, but this issue should not be of Rob's concern or his responsibility. He did what he did before and he faced it like a man and paid his dues. Punishing him furthermore will not amount to anything and will only create a more problematic situation.

While this issue does not seem to be entirely relevant to free speech, Rob has taken responsibility for his actions and expulsion is a harsh penalty. It doesn't seem right that someone who is willing to reform won't get a chance to.

why ask a bright young student to leave when he can apologize and let him stay? Everyone talks badly about someone else at some time. No matter what he said, we should all follow our first ammemdment: freedom of speech. Rob cussing someone out is not reason enough to expell him. plus I have heard members of the faculty and even administration curse and talk shit from time to time. lets expell them too!

because the administration would be rediculous for expelling an INTELLIGENT student, for something as rediculous asmaking offensive remarks to a person. We have people like Carlos Prieto for a reason. Faculty is so busy telling students how they neglect their resources, that they forget about all the resources they have themselves, which they can use to help people like Rob, overcome their prejudices, rather than casting them aside.
