I was living in Wales for a period of time, and I discovered Paddy Rock... Perhaps the best website i've ever found... it really introduced me to many more irish/irish punk bands than just the mainstream ones. I love the radio show, and I urge you to bring it back!
What's up with this? Do you realize that as I type this there are hundreds of kids out there honing their skills on some instrument Guitar Center doesn’t even sell? Practicing their banjo triplets or their mandolin fills or lugging around half their body weight in accordion all with the goal of one day finding five like minded drunken knuckleheads to start a band. And that when that band is formed the goal of that band won’t be a Top 40 hit or a record deal it will be let’s do something good enough to get played on PaddyRock.com Why do you want to shatter some 14 year old accordion players dream? You don’t think it is tough enough being a 14 year old accordion player already? You’re about the only shot this kid has of not becoming the 40 Year Old Virgin. Let the music play.
