I call upon all elected officials and candidates for public office to make NYC Parks #1 in the Nation by:

IMPROVING parks and playgrounds in every New York City neighborhood

WORKING toward committing 1% of the city's overall operating budget to our parks and playgrounds

ALLOWING the Parks Department to keep the money earned from its concession revenue in order to provide additional services to all neighborhoods

Hey, why do you New Yorkers always want the spot light? I live in a small city called Columbia, Missouri. Sure, it sucks, but our parks are probley way better than yours. Why? Because our city realy cares abotu them, now if theyd only care about public transit.......
