Once again, a law that punishes the law abiding and responsible to enable the irresponsible to contunue in their harmful ways. Enforce the good existing laws first before making bad ones.
We need to enforce the laws we already have, and give Cruelty officers a nationally recognized standard for the nation to go by, instead passing such a non-nessessary law as this.
I do not support this bill, I agree..go after the puppy mills and the petshops that support them. Responsible hobbyist of any breed of animals should be supported & protected. Responsible breeder's #1

This bill represents an unecessary intrusion of govt. into the lives of ordinary citizens. Please do not pass this bill. I believe that this bill could severely limit the genetic divesity that is so important to maintain in every breed. It would negatively impact important hobby breeders who constantly strive to improve their breed. Thanks for listening.
This law will hurt responsible breeders and 4H youth breeders. How about supporting organizations that educate people about being responsible breeders and responsible owners.

ITS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT AKC WILL SUPPORT IT THIS TIME WHEN IT IS ONE STEP CLOSER TO SHUTTING DOWN THEIR REGISTERY. I believe that many will abandon registration. Already there is talk going around. IT will support puppy mills driving their prices higher. IT could lead to average citizen not even being able to afford that beloved pet. Small home and hobby breeders that supply love socialation to their animals would be hurt greatly. In this day of war talk of deleted social security and loss of jobs do your focas on 25 pups or 29 pups. W hat do you do with the other pups if your girl has more than the 25 in the last litter giving you 28 pups for the year. DO YOU JUST DEPRIVE THEM OF THEIR REGISTRATION BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE UNDER GOVERMENT RULE. MUST WE LOSE ALL OUR RIGHTS. EVEN IN OUR PRIVATE HOMES. LEAVE THE LAWS THE WAY THEY ARE AAND SUPPORT THEM AS THEY ARE. ALL AKC MEMBERS ARE ALREADY UNDER STRICT SUPPERVISION.

small breeder and not make more laws but enforce those already on the books.
It's definitely apparent that our government has gone above and beyond to invade, police, and control every aspect of our private lives, including our hobbies. I totally agree with the fact that the bill is unethical, and that it's nothing more than another example of people who don't have clue one about any of this trying to pass laws that will hurt every responsible breeder! The illegal and un-necessary conviscation of animals must be stopped. It is being used as a income generator for numerous agency. It is time to control them, and stop them from ruining peoples lives for their own financial gain.

As all 4 national clubs have strong standards in which breeders who breed for show strongly follow and strive to acheive. please do not let this bill pass.
This bill does nothing but restrict the rights of responsible owners/breeders of many different animals. Come on you guys, smarten up and stop being manipulated by special interests.
We do not need more laws restricting our rights and invading our privacy. The only one hurt by this law are the lawful private responsible hobby breeders. My family left communist Cuba over 40 years ago to enjoy freedom and over the years I have seen these freedoms taken away from us bit by bit. We must stop this practice or we will eventually lose all are rights and freedom. I urge you to vote no!
