If PayPal is a totally high-tech internet money wiring service - it should be high tech enough to protect itself from possible "money laundering" or "hacking" - if that is what they are afraid of. If Mexico is included, so should the Philippine Islands. ON THE OTHER HAND, the PHILIPPINE BANKS should propose as well to PAYPAL because of the connection of transactions between the two institutions.

The Philippines should be included in the list of PayPal countries because many of us want to take advantage of the power and convenience of e-commerce. PayPal is widely accepted in the US and so many other countries, thus we are missing out on that link to the world e-market.
In these days when remote working is becoming more common, it seems ridiculous that Filipino's are in effect ruled out of these positions simply because the country does not accept PayPal. Banning the Philippines from PayPal service is not good for business. There are international/foreign businesses that set up web-based services and e-commerce sites in the Philippines, but can't use PayPal to process payments. If PayPal thinks that it's only the Philippines and Filipinos that suffer from blacklisting this country, then think again! They're only encouraging Philippines-based businesses to set up accounts in other territories. Moreover, foreign-owned companies in the Philippines suffer too, more than Filipinos themselves.
Uh, walang AVS ang Philippine-issued cards kaya ayaw ng Paypal. Mahirap i-detect kung fraudulent yung transaction. Sobrang malabo ito unless ma-implement ang AVS. Try pushing an online transaction using a locally-issued card but use a false billing address. You'll see na lulusot yun

Whelp, I guess it's the "money laundering issues" that keeps the PH isolated from using PP. AFAIK... Tho, it would be great if Paypal includes us PH to use their service... Count my petition in!
