Behind the fun films and cute toys, Disney has a secret. Disney exploits workers in Bangladesh, Haiti and other 3rd World countries. The workers work over 19 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are paid 12 cents for every $27.99 Disney garments they sew.
We've gotta stop this. Disney can still use workers in Bangladesh, but given that Michael Eisner (CEO of Disney) is a multi millionaire, they should be paid more and treated better.
Thanks!
Scarlett:)

I support this petition. Hey, for Minnie, Haiti is in the Pacific - i think. What I do know is that it's a really poor country. Samitri Khiman, I'm sorry about your aunt, I hope this helps her.

I support this petition. Y don't it have more signatures? This is totally unfair. Did you know Disney employ workers as young as seven or eight? Minnie. PS where's Haiti?

Disney is trying to take over the world, they call it the "wonderful world of disney" but the real term is actrually "the Disney empire". Some members of amnesty are bound to know this, however, this does not mean that they will do anything, due to limited funding and human resources, amnesty can only help so many people, I however am no implying that sweatshops are not violating human rights.

Human Rights need to come before profits. It would not be difficult to pay the workers decently and improve working conditions. Be compassionate!
