Ok so my Mom doesnt want me to have my lip pierced. Typical Mom, right? But I know that I'm mature enough to handle it. I want my lip pierced with one piercing on each side. Little loops. And a few of my friends already have this same thing. Theyre my same age.

Well my Mom said she will actually allow me to get my belly button pierced. But I hate my stomach. I'm not going to get my belly button pierced and have to show it to everyone. Mom just thinks that my lip will get infected because I wont tend to it often enough and it'll make my lip swollen and my face will look like crap.

But Im plenty mature enough to handle that responsibility. Im 14. And its not like Im gonna do it myself or anything. Im gonna have it professionally done.

I support this petition. I was kind of liking the way a tongue ring looks, but every thing I read is all about the bad health effects, so I really want a lip ring, and I\'m 13. If you know you\'ll be able to care for your piercing girl, go for it. You could try showing your mom that your mature enough for it? I dunno if that would work, but it\'s worth a try! :)

I support this petition. Somewhat. I say put age restriction for piercings. Like maybe 14. I\'m 14, and want one. But ask yourself this. Do you really want something that gets in the way of eating, kissing, it makes you tongue swell up and hurt like hell after about a week after you get it and stays for a month, etc.?

Oh yeah! Im 12 and I wanna get snake bites, too! Everyone thinks, \"Wow she isnt even a teen blahblahblah\" well, yeah. doesnt mean im a little kid. My mom thinks im crazy, but she says i need to be atleast 16. I mean, I bet we could find a place in Connecticut (IF ANYBODY KNOWS A PLACE TELL ME!!) that will let me get snake bites. My dad would have a cow though... ._.;; Thats kind of the big problem for me. Anyway! I keep trying to convince them and stuff. I looked up so many things on snake bites so I know what I have to go to get them all perfect. Ugh. What a drag. But.. uh... WISH YA LUCK!! <333

I support this petition. I also have my lip pierced. My mom was like that until she realized that I really wanted it. So she took me in and I got mine proffesionaly done. As long as you take care of it often and watch for infection, you\'ll be just fine (: Good Luck!
