Dear Feeder School Alignment Committee:

As a PISD resident, I am writing today to strongly urge you to consider voting for the 2011-2012 Feeder School Alignment Model CW-1.

CW-1 is the closest model to existing routing. It ensures the smoothest transition which potentially impacted thousands of students and their siblings, families.

CW-1 is the most cost effective model. Other models will move students too far. An example, for students currently enrolled at Schimelpfenig Middle School, the commute to high schools would be nearly doubled. Consequently traffic flow and transportation cost increased significantly. CW-1, in contrast, means saving of tremendous time, PISD operation expense, convenience to the families, and in long term, contribution to PISD performance sustainability and environment.
