I support this petition. Pitbuls are wonderful loving dogs and are pets to many people.There is absolutely no such thing as a bad and vicous pitbull. When a pitbull attacks the dog should be confiscated from that owner. We need to make some law where only people with certified licenses can own pitbulls then that would solve the problem cause pitbulls would only be owned by responsible owners. Please!!!!!!!!
I have raised several Pit Bulls,and currently own one,and they are the sweetest dogs!iI wouldn't give my Pit up for anything in this world.It isn't the dog,its the owner!!Any dog can be mean if its raised to be!!
Blame the deed not the breed! Quit being ignorant and blaming innocent animals for thier owners actions and how they raised them. You can raise any dog to be mean. If you love and train a dog properly they don't attack. I am a proud owner of two pit bulls and they are the biggest babies. They wouldn't harm a fly! Quit listening to the media, it's not like they tell both sides of the story only the one that will get people's attention. So do some research on the breed before you open your mouth!
It's the owners faults, not the dog. It's not fair that dogs are being taken away and killed, especially if they NEVER have attacked, and it is only because 'they are a pitbull.'
I have seen first hand how much good the breed ban does; I lived in the northern florida keys, and at least once I week there is a story in the paper about another "pit bull attack" in Miami Dade county, where the breed has been outlawed. It is absolutely absurd; these bans do nothing to solve the problem. Deal with the people causing the issue, instead of killing off the dogs who have falled victim to brutality.
