I am a Veterinary Technology student and work with dogs on a regular basis! I love the pit bull breed and do not know one Veterinary professional that does not agree. Don\'t ban pit bulls, ban ignorance!
I support this petition. This ban is ridiculous it is the owners fault, not the dogs. It always seems to amaze me how humankind loves to always push the blame onto someone or something else, rather then accepting responsibility for their own actions.

The dogs are loving. Any individual in any breed, or breed cross, can be made vicious. Deal with the owner, not the entire breed. The government can do much better, and show more wisdom, than banning an entire breed.

I think that this ban is completely useless. I believe that the owners are at fault, and if we take pitbulls from them they will start breeding all different kinds of dogs to be the same way. This ban isn't ending anything it's only taking kind dogs from loving families.

If people were actually informed properly about this breed for what and how they really are, there would be no need for this ban. They are a very loving breed that have been unfortunately made to look bad because of irresponsible owners and have been used as a scapegoat in society.
I have volunteered at many shelter and have the seen the good and bad of all the breeds. Ban on Pitbulls is inhumane, I have two sweet babies they have never bit anyone, most bites occur from cocker spaniels and no one is banning those snappy dogs.

01/04/08My dog Mia has been fixed, proper needles,muzzled and registered with city of vaughan. Kennel Inn Inc located on Younge street Ont is trying to kill my dog.
