This is ridiculous!!! I have a pittbull and he is one of my best dogs. It is all how the dogs are raised and what they have been around. Although friendliness and tolerance towards humans are traits of the breed, there are, as in any breed, those that are dangerous toward humans. I will be keeping my pitt.

having owned many pitbulls and working in an animal shelter for 7 years, i can tell you that banning this breed would be heartbreaking. This is a wonderful breed that has been so abused. punish the deed not the breed.

I support this because its not the dogs that are bad its the owners i own 2 staorrdshirebull terriers and a pit and they are the best dogs every. The goverment should take a long look at the owners and not the dogs.Maybe they should use there sources to catch the people that are fighting these lovely dogs.

I own two pitbulls and there my best friends. Every pitbull I have looked at have been good nature. If your going to punish anyone punish the people who abuse and teach these dogs to fight.

I support this, because pits are good dogs. Punish the deed, not the breed. I've worked in the largest independantly owned vet hospital for 3 years....we have hundreds of pits every week. I can count on one hand the truly aggressive pits I have met. They are good dogs. It's people who make them bad.
