This is a petition to stop the wrongful euthanization of Pit Bulls based on their breed.
How can we catergorize a whole breed based on a wrongful act of one dog? That would be like catergorizing a whole race based on one persons actions.
Punish the Deed.. Not the Breed!

Dogs shouldn t be killed becuase of their breed. Dogs only act the way they are treated, and most people treat pitbulls like crap becuase they think they are crap. Pitbulls are truelly no different from any other dog, good and loving. they shouldn't be killed becuase of what people do to them! >:(

I support this Petition. I agree! My in-laws have a Pit Bull, and my son(who lives with us) also has one. They are the biggest babies, and oh so gentle. Love the Breed. Punish the idiots who make them mean.

people stereo type pitbulls like some people stereo type black people jus cause they hear sumthin bad bout them.its not all pitbulls that are mean.an the reason they are mean its how the owner raises them and them people should have to pay for it not tha pitbull.cause they are great doggs.prolly tha best dogg ive ever had.

Targeting specific breeds is NOT the soulution and it is NOT fair. Why don't we come up with other solutions. Educating the public about these breeds is a start, then required temperment testing. Lastly dogs owners as a whole need to be held responsible for keeping there dogs mind in a calm state.(EXERCISE!) I work in the dog industry and every day I see dogs who are frustrated and understimulated.

I cant believe this is happening all over the world. please stop the unrightful killing of pit bulls. They are the sweetest dogs ever, it needs to be the owners responsibility to make their dogs friendly to the community.

Definitely punish the deed not the breed.Most pitties are the sweetest ever,&amp;amp; the ones that aren&amp;amp;#39;t is completely the owners fault for not socializing,training, or giving them compassion. It&amp;amp;#39;s not the dogs fault at all. Enforce altering of all pets, enfoce proper training, and such. Train the owners. Pitties rock and mine are the 2 biggest babies and wouldn&amp;amp;#39;t hurt anyone or anything.
