i use to be terrified of pitts but we found a pitt puppy and kept her and she is such a good girl. since then we have taken in two more. our young one now is spoiled rotten,she is a big girl and likes to lay her head on the pillow beside us. we also have a chiuaua and guess which one is more aggressive:) you should always be careful no matter what the breed. any animal if in pain will react.my pitts all slept with us and with our cats, however like most dogs they like to chase anything.

DO U KNOW ABOUT DOG BECAUSE I HAVE RED NOSE PUP AND SHE EAT VERY LITTLE

i have been bitten by a rottweiler and my brother a blue catlle, it makes me so mad that a dog breed can be made illegal when other breeds are doing the same ATTACKING . if they have training , a lot of attention and love they grow up to be lovely family dogs . some dogs dont like kids up in their faces, the owner should know their dog and take responsibility for them.

for all of those people who think the banning of "aggressive" breed dogs is a positive thing and should be like that in every city and in every state in america think about this you are intentionally wanting and trying to cause an animal to go extinct the thought of america banning any animal is insane why should the dog be blamed for a few bad owners people are looking at the wrong end of the leash according to CNN and a 5 year study there are on average 18 fatal dog attacks in the us annually. 1,000's of people die from alcohol, tobacco why arent we banning that. think of how many pit bulls, mastiffs,rotties, and other so called aggressive breeds there are in just florida alone what percent actually have ever attacked or harmed someone.guess what its less than 1% anyways personally i think chihuahuas are the most aggressive breed of dogs the one difference is the size of the dog go to any hospital and ask an E.R. doctor which breed of dog sends the most people to the E.R. for dog bites 9 out of 10 times its a chihuahua or dogs under 10 lbs. i have been envolved in the american kennel club dog shows from a young age the smallest dogs were the ones most likely to growl and to try to bite someone and these should be some of the best trained dogs around think twice about who or what you blame and research before you make a statement on this very important topic. It was and is People that breed dogs to what they want and it isour fault that pitbulls have become so strong overthe years. Some people may not know that you should breed for good temperment and personality.It is something that can be improved in EVERY breed there is. there are a lot of people that get biten by dogs around the wirral and mist of them are NOT pitbulls.There is a yorky tht has biten about 8 people one of them was my bother and my m8 nothing was done because it was not a pitbull or staff they se i can do no harm.any dog can kill if any dog bites it should be put down bt not all of the breed should.if yu ask me the owners who made them bad should be killed
