Bring it back, but please rewrite it and do more research. Why don't they get HBO writers? or HBO actors? and tone down the endorsement overdose a bit.

It is politics at its worst - when Paul Tagliabue's "take it off the air" threat can actually cancel one of the best television shows I've seen. I understand ESPN stake in caving in to the threat. Make season 2. Not fair to the viewing audience to be left hanging. Horrible. Not only has ESPN gotten away from real sports, but when they finally have a good show, they get rid of it and replace it with junk.
ESPN is bigger than the NFL. The NFL overstepped their boundary, they should worry about steroids and drugs in their league. Oh wait, that is exactly what playmakers was about!!!!
