I have just been reading some of the petitions and i think that people just come on here and bag the crap out of eachother. Is it just be or do you find most of the petitions made on this site are POINTLESS!
I understand if there is something you disagree on you should discuss, for example i was outraged to see one petition debating whether the holocaust was the right thing to do, for god sakes people wake up stop being so ignorant. I am sure you guys are going to bag the crap out of me because thats what people with low socio-economic status's do.

I think most of you don't even know what the actual definition of a petition is " a formal, written request made to an official person or organized body, often containing many signatures"
most of the crap on here is totally irrelevant and wasting valuable internet space.

I look foward to seeing some comments ;)

I agree that most of the petitions on this site are pointless. Guess what Dean? You have just added another pointless petition to this site so you have no right to complain. Ho Ho Ho. Seriously though, I agree with you but the pointless petitions is what makes this site so enjoyable. After a hard day, this is a great place to relax. I've just recently come back after a year and the site has really improved. At first, the admin just let this site spiral down into irrevelance but now they seem to be trying their best to turn this site around from being a joke into something that can be repected. However, some of the 'regulars' still post here. I think the forums are a great addition because it will give people who are serious about their petitions a place to discuss it without leaving comments in the petition itseld. However, I don't think that anyone will use the forms because it's more fun to write them in petitions. One problem with online petitions is that names can be faked and signers can list their names many times if they have many e-mail addresses (or post fake ones) and it is hard to validate the names. Hopefully this will be worked out in the future.
