There is not very many decent television shows left to watch on tv that are both interesting and refreshing. Cancelling Point Pleasant is a bad idea.
I'm sick of all the "good" tv shows being cancelled and a lot of garbage being left on.
What is wrong with Fox? Point Pleasant rocks, so of course they must cancel it. Logic train? Fox has a habit of killing good shows before they have a chance to thrive from Profit (which they gave FOUR episodes!) and Kindred the Embraced up to John Doe and Fastlane last year. I'm surprised that Fox didn't cancel The X-Files after six episodes. Someone needs to grow a clue and stop killing the few shows worth watching on TV.
We have already taken many hours from our busy lives to watch this show to this point. It is a bad move and bad call on your part to stop the show without allowing the viewers to finish the season. We have not given our view time for nothing. We want to finish the show.
Please don't cancel Point Pleasant. It's one of the few original shows on TV.Sticking it in the worst time slot was a bad, bad move, unless you didn't want the show to suceed. Move PP to a better time slot and put some cheap-to-make reality schlock in the Thursday 9-10!!
I don't understand how Fox can advertise on its stations how many millions of viewers are tuning into Point Pleasant and watching the show and then suddenly pull the plug on it. Fox is cancelling a show that is doing well in a tough timeslot. Point Pleasant has the chance to become the best show to deal with supernatural aspects since The X-Files, and at the same time, combine the soapy melodrama aspect that has proved successful for The O.C., North Shore, and countless other primetime dramas.
With all due respect to Fox executives, this is a disgraceful act. If the show was not doing as well as you claim, then at least run through the episodes you have and finish up the storyline, even if it's in a different timeslot.
i agree with ben m. obviously people are watching the show. 4 million is a lot. their are other shows that dont even have that many that are still on the air....
PLEASE KEEP POINT PLEASANT ALIVE! Please do not cancel! Please at least send to another network like the WB or UPN! I love this show, it is the only show I watch on network on tv!

This show has amazing potential. It has been going great so far and this is only the 9th episode. It deserves a chance. PLEASE, PLEASE don't cancel it. FOX, YOu finally have something worth saving, come on!
Why would you keep something like the OC on the air and cancel this show just as it starts to get in the swing of things. It was really getting good, and you aren't even going to show the last eps! There better be a DVD.
YOu gave x-Files a chance and this seems just as mysterious and thought provoking. You always cancel the shows that could have been great, like Dark Angel. Smarten up or we will boycott FOX!
I don't watch a lot of TV, and this was a show I was actually interested. If you don't want to show it, at least give it to another network so we can watch it!!!

Point Pleasant is one of the few shows that stand out. Please do not cancel it. Give it the chance to grow that it deserves. You can't just create this great story, get us all involved in it, and then let it vanish off our screens. At the very least finish the 1st series. You owe that much to your viewers.

fox's PP site, and it's gone. The just wiped it out like it was never there. I personally and digusted by how
Fox has handled this show. It's one of the few original shows on and what do they do, the put it in a horrible time slot, up against CSI and the apprentice, and then never even attempt to promote it. What was the point in even premiering the show, if you are just going to pull it in a few months, for a show that has been off the air forever now. PLEASE WB PICK UP PP. EVERYONE WRITE WB, AND TRY TO GET THEM TO PICK UP THE SHOW. Since it's obvious that Fox has given up from the start, now the fans will have to pick up their slack.
If you cancel Point Pleasant, I will never watch Fox again. Which will actually be easy for me since Point Pleasant is the only show left on Fox that I watch.

Like many of the other people who like Point Pleasant, am ready to boycott Fox! Point Pleasant IS such a great show. I couldn't wait each week to see the new episode. I make sure I'm home and ready at 9 p.m. not matter what!!!!! It really stinks to cancel the show in mid 1st season... especially when things were really starting to get rolling and getting super interesting!!! BUT if you must cancel.. PLEASE release the season on DVD so we can at least find out what the heck happens next!! I mean...you're leaving us hanging...I hate this...and I'll hate FOX for doing this!!!! This show simply CANNOT be cancelled! If it is, I am done with FOX forever. I'm a huge American Idol fan, but I can live without it!!! FOX is really making a huge mistake with this one!!!!! Once agian Fox has made a stupid mistake by cancelling a awesome show. Maybe we will be lucky and the sci fi channel will pick up Point Pleasant.Just like they did with Stargate. And look how well stargate has done

I am a faithful viewer and have told many people about the show, only to find out that it is not airing. The same thing happened with Skin. Please do not take it off the air!!!!
Please don't cancel Point Pleasant!!! Our family loves it and we are tired of starting to watch new shows and then having them get cancelled. We watch fox for our local news and many of your other shows we'd hate to lose this show and would feel that fox is not a channel that we need to watch anymore!!!!
Please DO NOT cancel this show it is a favorite in our house. both my teenage daughters, my husband and myself don't miss it ever!!!! POINT PLEASANT is a great show. Whats wrong with the people at fox making the decisions.....you bring on shows and get us interested and then puff they are gone. if fox takes this show off the air I will never watch another fox show even if it does mean giving up o.c and Idol.....no wonder this network deosnt rank with ncb and cbs...those networks run show for years not weeks....
C'mon Fox...give us a break! Ratings aren't everything - and shows that should be given a fair chance are being cut off before their time. How about giving Point Pleasant an actual chance!
Point Pleasant is a very interesting and different show. Like others, I have had numerous shows of yours that I loved, just disappear; Freaky Links, Wonderfalls, Tru Calling, and now Point Pleasant. It was a nice option to replace Buffy and Angel that are now off the air.
Cancelling this show will only give me another reason to watch a show in the thursday time slot like the apprentice. This is your only great show on right now, so why give up on it because of its ratings (which result from your lack of any publicity for the show nowadays).
Fox...this is a great show and all my friends in england love it. I know it hasn't had the best ratings but i've read so many reviews, articles and fan posts wbich say the show could do so much better with better advertising and a good time slot. You could really make some money here if u give the show the attention it deserves. U put the show on ur channel for a reason; it is a good show. Remember that and give it a chance! Please dont give up. You have to admit that you cancel a lot of shows, and a lot of people dislike Fox because of it and it is losing you viewers. stop before it is too late!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep this show... there may not be many people who watch it (the ratings may not be the best) but face it... not many of your shows get great ratings anyway! this is my FAVORITE show ever!! don't cancel it... there are many loyal watchers who love the show! the least you could do is show the last episode and give it another chance! not all shows are great in the beginning! look at full house for example! they almost cancelled the show after the first season(which they finished!!) but they didn't cancel it! they gave it another chance and the ratings picked up! it was a hit in its second or third season! Fox, how do you expect a show to do that well when you put it up against number 1 shows? Why did you even bother putting the show on at all?? You tease people with a potentially awesome show and then threaten to take it away when it can't YET compete with the number 1 show. It needs more time and a better time slot. Just read on the bulletin board that they are definitely canceling the show, and to urge FOX to produce a DVD for the final episodes. This is a very sad mistake on Fox's behalf. Do you not know a good program when you see one? Each network picks up shows for the season and gives them a chance. Where was Point Pleasant's??? I rarely saw it advertised and only fell into it because I do watch the OC. Whether you believe it or not...the supernatural, dark side, good vs evil appeals to all and you should have given this a chance to grow rather than cancel.....for what??? Hope to god it won't be another reality show!!!!!!!!

I don't even watch that much TV, but this show brings me to the set. This is the only show I've EVER watched that I refuse to miss an episode of - that I will refuse other plans for - that I will make a point to be home to see. I'm amazed that I can be so into a television show. So far so good - this series hasn't degenerated yet - it's still real interesting - you're making a mistake.
Please do not cancel. This is one of the best shows I've seen in a long while. I actually rush home on Thurs. to see what is going to happen next. Should you make the wrong decision and cancel, DO NOT leave us hanging!
I cnat belive this...loved tru calling and then they canceled it...love point pleasent and they cancel it....what is the point of watching FOX? all the do is cancel something once you get interested in it...FOX jsut sucks lately....im not watching any of their new shows ...why get intereested in new characters and stories only to be left feelign high and dry...the epople at FOX need to wake up.
Don't cancel! Omar: this fan *did* watch every episode; Tru: Tru Calling sucks, it's just another busy-body female show like Murder She Wrote. But I like Point Pleasant and I want it to stay on.
