Its really sad when Fox decides to air a rwally nice show like Point, only to cancel it and replace it with garbage like American Idol. Fox, until you learn to distinguish good programing from your garbage ones, you'll always be the 3rd best channel out there for young people.
I love this show PLEASE put it back on you didn't even give it any kind of an ending its just hanging there and thats an awefule way to treat your viewers : (
Point Pleasent was the only show that my husband and I could enjoy together. We have watched every episode and are hooked. I can't believe Fox didn't give it a chance. Please put it back on you can't leave you faithful veiwers with such a cliffhanger. I know that if Fox doesn't bring PP back than they will lose a lot of viewers. They already lost my husband and me.
point pleasant is really good and should be aired. american idol is getting old. soon it will have to be canceled than we can watch shows that are good like point pleasant.

I find it to be quite a shame that FOX has decided to cancel Point Pleasant so abruptly. I have watched it from the very first episode. There was hardly any promotion whatsoever for the premiere and I can't recall any significant advertising since. If it was cancelled due to low ratings, FOX has only itself to blame. On rare occasions FOX signs on a good show with a meaningful storyline that is truely interesting, instead of only mindless Pop media. It disappoints me when shows like Point Pleasant, Tru Calling, Roswell, etc. pass through Fox Network and 20th Century Fox Productions only to be cast aside for the likes of American Idol, Life on a Stick, Simple Life (2 Seasons!!!), and the OC (90210 v2.0). At the very least, all 13 episodes sould be released on DVD as quickly as it can be done. As of 10 pm Eastern time, I see at least 2,058 people are likely to buy a copy of Point Pleasant from the courteous people at FOX who neglected to inform their viewers of their plans to yank the show. I seem to remember a preview for "Next time on Point Pleasant". . .
Sidenote - I hope no religious fanatics are at the source of FOX's decision to cancel the show. I think it was very clear that each side has a fighting chance.
I can't believe this S#!+. Why does FOX constantly cancel the best shows? Point Pleasant was an EXCELLENT show and me & my wife dropped whatever we were doing to never miss an episode. Not only do they cancel a show but they don't even inform their viewers!!! I'm VERY pissed off about this and I intend to boycott FOX for LIFE if they cancel Point Pleasant. F%^#$ American Idol.
Point Pleasant doesn't deserve to be cancelled. As you can see the show had millions of devoted viewers! Point Pleasant is an awsome show that I look forward to watching every week. I am more hooked on it than the OC! Please don't cancel it!

What the heck? This is totally unfair, like many other of the viewers I know that I always waited in suspense ALL week for the next episode, and then all of a sudden without any notice or reasoning, Fox just took it off the air... and I agree, I'm tired of getting interested in Fox's shows just to have them all cancelled, so BRING POINT PLEASANT BACK!!
Honestly? There's not been too many series on fox I've followed (outside of 24, and a few other pre-WB sent shows...which I'll go ahead and say, thank you marti noxon, for.) but I'll go out on a tangent and say this was possibly if not one of the most intriguing shows I've seen to date. It was given a death slot, time wise, and it totally lacked in promotional videos. Please, I ask as a fan of the show since the pilot, put Point Pleasant back on the air.

Point Pleasant is the best show on television in my opinion, and if it gets cancelled I'll be incomprehensibly upset. You're not giving it time to grow. Stick with it, seriously. I'm telling my friends at school about it, already I know that interest is growing. DON'T CANCEL IT.
FOX does not care about it's viewers. All they care about is numbers. Point Pleasant, Tru calling, John Doe, Dark Angel, Fastlane- All of these are REAL shows - NOt STUPID reality TV!!!!! so of course The evil empire of FOX cancelled them. because it would require acctual work to keep them on the air. It's not to stupid blond girls driving around acting like morons. That does not require writers- Marti Noxon is the best.

Like many have said if Fox pulls this show Fox has lost a faithful viewer of many years. Is it just Fox or is the church pulling their weight on this one? It seems like every intelligent, well written show that involves any kind of religious aspect is yanked right away. Anyone noticed it got pulled after the last show which actually used the word Satan and Lucifer. Coincidence? I was really excited to see where this show would go. I was so looking for to this weeks episode. My husband and I are simply outraged by this unexpected decision. BRING BACK POINT PLEASANT!

This show is so great, Fox, please don't take it away. My daughter and I actually watch it together and have something to talk about. It's so hard to get a teenager to spend time with you...Please don't cancel it.
I love both point pleasant and tru calling at would like to see the o.c. then point.pleasant then tru calling or at least see them all in the line up at the same time in the next seasons.

I can't believe that they cancelled Point Pleasant! It's such a great show... they never advertised it well and they gave it such a horrible time slot. I am so mad right I can't believe Point Pleasant is over. I don't understand why they just didn't give the show a chance to catch a fanbase I mean it's only had a few episodes.
I really liked this show; it has a thrilling since to it that not too many shows have. FOX needs to stick with one full show and not pull out so quickly.
I loved Skin. It was my favorite show... untill Fox went and cancelled it. I loved Point Pleasant... it became my new favorite show and now, it's cancelled.

Point pleasant was the best show on tv lately why do you people think its cool to start good shows then cancel them... it really makes people mad... first it was roswell and then buffy and angel and now point pleasant? really? Just because American Idol screwed with something doesn't mean you have to take PP's show time and replace it with American Idol's and have PP cancelled because you lost some viewers. That is truely unfair. You should really put the show back on air. I think alot of people will "Thank you" for it and it'll bring more viewers to your show since you cancelled it before. We'll be wanting to see it every Thursday night at 9:00 not "Tru Calling" or "The OC" or some other shows. We want to see POINT PLEASANT!!! Point Pleasant is really the only show I watch on network TV. It is really sad to see any show that is new and original gets the axe. American Idol and Reality TV in general needs to go away, it's just making people dumber.
