me and alot and i mean alot of my friends will completley stop watching fox if this show is canceled. I have at least 34 people and there familyies who will never watch fox again. Cancalling this show is an outrage
have the deceny to finish the season and put it on DVD it deserves at least a seconed season so they can finish up the story because people are dying to know what happens
So dissapointing to start such a great show and not give it a chance to grow an audience. Especially a show like this where there is mysery surrounding everything and those who watched will never know... please bring it back, or at least finish out the season!
This show was really starting to take off when Fox gave it the axe. It was clearly the Pilot that turned people off. I think if Fox had advertised it more, it would have done better. I haven't seen one commercial for the show after the third episode.
I cannot count how many shows (remember Roar)that on Fox are shuffled in time slots, not advertised or put in a time slot against CSI and epected to lure billions of viewers and then cancelled. At least wrap up the storyline for once. I think I'll cancel Fox.

The show is a big hit here in my household! We were seriously upset about the cancellation! Bring it back or air it on another network, cuz we all know FOX FKN SUCKS!
Please save this show. At least release the remaining episodes on dvd. Point Pleasant was a very smart dark drama. It was really weak to cease airing of the final 5 episodes.

Point Pleasant was one of the most unique and exciting shows on television today. Don't punish the loyal fans because YOU aired it in the slot least likely to be able to acheive decent ratings!
FOX - you have seriously got to stop cancelling shows midseason! Every show deserves at least 1 full season to bring in viewers, plus it's not fair to those of us who actually DO watch your network to keep leaving us hanging in the dark with no proper resolution.
And the fact that there are UNAIRED episodes just sitting out there and you're not letting us see them - it's pure cruelty! The least you owe us is a DVD set of the complete first season.
Finally, it makes absolutely no sense to never air those remaining episodes which have already been made and paid for. With all the repeats and lame specials that clutter the airwaves these days, and especially in the summer days, you could easily air a new Point Pleasant episode and rate higher than with a repeat of another show.
It's a shame that Point Pleasant had to be canceled so soon. I feel it wasn't given the chance to grow to see where the story would have went.
Please, at least, release a DVD of the the episodes.

OK~ My sister is a BIG Roswell fan~ she told me about how when the WB dropped Roswell
that FANS sent to UPN over 100 THOUSAND bottles of TABASCO sauce!! The aliens loved
Sweet and Spicyand this was the one ITEM that was truly symbolic of the show! Well
the fans idea was that if they pushed enough than maybe UPN would pick up the show!
AND IT WORKED! UPN picked up the show for another season!
Well I've been thinking about it~ and I feel that the CROSS is one of the most
SYMBOLIC items on the show! I even did a little more research and found a website
that offers CHEAP CROSSES by the DOZEN! I don't think it make a difference how
nice the CROSS is, just send them!

Yes I am that CRAZY about this show! I ALSO Feel that the ideas of sending postcards
to ALL THREE AFFILIATES is a great idea too! But I think the CROSSES Will make
much more of an IMPACT!

At least give the fans the chance to watch to whole 1st season before you cancel it. Also why don't you try promoting the show more. I watch Fox channel alot and I see at least 20 commercials for American Idol in a 1hr & half period and I have only seen maybe 5 for Point Plesant.
You have GOT to STOP listening to those GOP Prudes at your News Network who say shows like this are immoral! What are you gonna cancel next? Simpsons?? People LIKE Point Pleasant, Its on everyone's Tivo list! People Equal Ratings, Ratings equal MONEY. Go back to thinking with your Wallets & FIRE every one of your Right-wing Zealots who think this show & shows like it ate Immoral. Hello from Sweden. I really love this show and I am really disappointed that you are abandoning it. It's one of the best series that has been aired the last couple of years.
Fox Exec. are MORONS!They kill all the good shows and put on these stupid sitcoms that are cheap and brainless. Fox is going DOWNHILL fast.THey could at least have the decency to show the rest of the episodes and not leave followers hanging and frustrated. FOX=MORONS!!!!
I can't believe FOX would just cut a show off in the middle of it, why would you not finish the season. What a stupid idea who says they will not do this to other shows that we all get interested in. Finish the season if not stop putting shows on the air and we will all view the news when we watch Fox, at least we will know that you are not going to cut that off in the middle of it.
What a waste of time, Thanks for wasting my time putting a show on the air that your not going to finish. Thats like making a movie with no ending, I dont know if I ever want to start a show on Fox again now I have to worry about you pulling it off the air because you put it on, at a bad time during the week. This is the only show I have ever watched from the beginning it had and awesome story line to it, and you pull it so I can never see the ending. what a waste if your not going to put it on the air then send me all the episodes on DVD so I can actually finish it myself and you know what I will take the copy write too so I can sell it to all the people that you disappointed.
This is complete crap! First you guys cancel Tru Calling which was, to me, a very original, unlike any other. And now you cancel Point Pleasant? It's another very original show! Shows that are like everyone else's shows on network TV like OC...basically Dawson's Creek on the beach and Dawson's Creek was Beverly Hills 90210 on a creek! This is complete bull and if this show is canceled I WILL BOYCOTT FOX! None of your other shows are good anyways! Put something on that is at least original for god's sake!

Point Pleasant is a great show that was put into a terrible timeslot. To have a brand new show be put up against shows like CSI, AND barely promote it (like the OC got tons of promotion but Point Pleasant didn't) was just horrible business moves. DON'T MAKE ANOTHER BY CANCELLING POINT PLEASANT BEFORE FANS GOT INTERESTED!
Fox cancelling Point Pleasant was just as bad a move as WB cancelling Angel. At least finish out the season and put them on DVD for us. Not everyone likes American Idol. Since Angel has left the air, I was looking forward to having something else to come home to watch in the evenings. I'm tired of this, makes you want to quit watching tv altogether. In fact, I didn't watch Fox until Point Pleasant.
