Hey This show was great. I love this show so much. Its got such a cult following. You really need to either bring it back or jsut give it to the WB or another network, one that can do something with it.
Point Pleasant was the best thing on TV. The idea is great, the acting was good. Please finish out the season, or release it on DVD and I will buy it. Jule
I want Point Pleasant back on television. Fox has a serious problem when handling their programs. They have a very unhealthy habit of cancelling good shows and leaving that reality crap on. Enough is enough!

how can you leave us hanging in midst season? all shows start up slow and slowly gain popularity. its unfair to lead us on and have no possible way of seeing the end.
Guys this show is great. Think about it, Revelations, Medium, and Point Pleasant. it seems like there are more spiritual/phenominal showls coming around. shouldnt you guys at fox ride the wave and keep point pleasant? Please reconsider
The Family would much appreciate Point Pleasant being returned to it's regular scheduling and perhaps a couple of times a week for that matter. It is simply not right to leave us fans in this kind of suspense.

great show, this could be great. If you aired the show more then say..2 weeks in a row and then take 4 weeks off and then 2 weeks on again, you might just get a show that people can follow. Its pretty simple; word of mouth is what gets a show popular and well when people dont know when its on or its not on every week then the word cant spread. So show a show the whole way through like every week so the word can spread. Seriously you really dropped the ball on this one.
Hey Fox, There is another spiriritual show coming soon called revelations. Now you have copied all the other shows, like the trading spouses, the next great champ and etc. Is the reason why you canceled Point Pleasant because you were afraid that NBC would sue you for a rip off of revelations? Well get a pair and cash in on all the religion stuff. If not at least give it to fx or the wb, a network that is use to taking risks like you guys use to be about.
I think it's unfair to cancel this show based on dwindling ratings. Especially when it was put up against a heavyweight contender like CSI. New shows need a better chance to establish a fan base; Fox, could you please try bringing this back for even half a season, but in a different time slot? I know that I personally have to tape it every Thursday because I'm also a CSI fan. So, yes, this is a great show with amazing potential, if those suit-and-tie execs would just give it a chance. thank you.

Everytime I find a good show on Fox, they decide to give up on it because they don't promote it enough. Get rid of reality tv, bring back professional paid actors. I loved Tru Calling, Point Pleasant, Birds of Prey to name a few

Fox has recently promoted Peter Liguori(from F/X). He will be responsible for all Fox programming, since Gail Berman left. Address your letters to him, C/O Fox Broadcasting. With his experience at F/X, he might give Point Pleasant a shot. He is the one reponsible for Nip/Tuck & The Shield-2 highly acclaimed shows which other networks weren't interested in.
I can't believe that PP was cancelled!!! It was a great, interesting and different show, not like the crap you see now on TV. Even in Puerto Rico people were crazy about the show. Hello!!!, this means that it was good. What am I going to do now on Thursday nights? Please save PP!!!
Point Pleasant was a fresh new series with great characters and a gripping storyline that kept you hooked into after every episode. It's a shame that FOX pulled the plug just because of ratings -- and everyone knows that Thursday nights are a horrible lineup. Competition with CSI, The OC, and other primetime hits. It would've been impossible for Point Pleasant to get enough ratings according to FOX's standards.
Sure, the dialogue wasn't exactly perfect and needed improvement, but if the show went on they could've dealt with that. From the last episode that was aired there was a good chance that it could've improved -- but FOX axed it anyway. Why? Timeslot was bad, they didn't like the ratings, thus led to their obvious decision which was to mercilessly kill it off before it had a proper chance to prove itself as a good quality series. Disappointed as I am, this is truly FOX we're talking about -- they take something, air it for a few weeks, and then take it away before the fans get a chance at any conclusion or closure whatsoever. They had done that to Wonderfalls before, and now to Point Pleasant. It's really getting rather irritating and ridiculous, not to mention heartbreaking to all these worthwhile shows that keep disappearing.
FOX should've seen its potential, because it really was a great show. Every single fan of the series, including myself, are disheartened and letdown by this decision.
Please, please let the series continue on from where it had left off. If not on FOX then onto another network station or elsewhere so that Marti Noxon can finish telling the story about Christina Nickson and her destiny there at Point Pleasant. If not that, then release the complete first season onto DVD to the fans that had watched the show can have some closure.
Ok if the OC can stay on why can't this? The oc is boring. Point Plesant deals with the unknown. Since two of the wrighters are from Buffy and Angel. We need to keep watching it.
Why was there almost no promotion for the show after the first two episodes? There are commercials for the OC on Fox during almost every primetime commercial break on Fox, but yet not even a mention of Point Pleasant following it. Fox has barely given this show a chance to find it's base of viewers. At the least, Fox could put the entire season on DVD so all of the fans can see how the season would have come together. thanks.
Point Pleasant is the first real breakthrough after Buffy the Vampire Slayer! It absolutely has the potential to grow even as big as Buffy, if not bigger. The main cause for its not succeeding is the lack of promotion commercials! Give it a chance!!!
Fox Network sucks! Anything you put against CSI (the #1 rated tv show) is going to fail! Put Point Pleasant back on! It was one the freshest tv shows out there...oops! "Freshest"....I guess I'll turn to WB for future viewing options. They at least play series out to the end.
Point Pleasant was one of the first real creative and interesting shows on television. From a guy that doesn't get into many tv series.. I must say Pt Pleasant had me hooked from the start and I devastated to see it taken off the air like this. Especially at a time where the series was starting to get more and more intense... I mean what was on that video tape.. what are Jesse's secret powers, HOW DOES IT ALL END!!! Please bring it back.. if anything let the fans see in a DVD season release

I'm really dissapointed about point pleasant being cancelled. It was a really good show and I don't understand why it is being cancelled. I mean fox has to at least air the rest of the season because I heard that now they are only airing the last two episodes instead of the last 5 episodes they are supposed to air. I mean look at family guy it was loved by many people and look now its BACK!
A quality/guilty pleasure show that never seemed to get a fair chance from FOX, and in the final weeks was bounced around the schedule without pity or explanation. Why not just give "American Idol" its own network? BRING BACK THE SHOW...FX/ WB/UPN/SCI FI CHANNEL please. Or at the VERY LEAST, finish airing the completed episodes at a later date! God will punish you if you don't! (that was a joke, of course...)
