If you have to cancel this fantastic show then do it, but at least have the courtesy to finish the season and not leave all of us hanging!!!! Once again, FOX has set a show up for failure by playing ping pong with it....it's on tonight....no, wait, they have substituted a DIFFERENT SHOW....SURPRISE!!! They did the same thing to Firefly, so I missed episodes they DID show and it lost all continuity by having weeks pass between episodes. We are a Nielsen family and will be boycotting all fox shows for a year. This was the only show we watched. Four other Nelson familys have agreed to join us.
this show rocks and I think that if they just put it in a different time slot then it will do better. Because at 9:00 it is late and sometimes people might have to go to bed before that time. I do not want a repeat of the mess that was made with Tru Calling of last year or for Point Pleasant to just be ripped off the air like Wonder Falls was. Even if Fox doesn't want the show, they should at least end it adequately so that they can put a full season on DVD. If Fox doesn't clean up their act, I'll have to boycott them, just like I have a few other networks that persist in treating their viewers like garbage.

Unfair treatment on this show from the Fox Network has played a very key role in low ratings and smaller viewership. In the area I live in the show was interupted and not aired at least 4 times during it's short run. I do not believe that Fox will return this great show to the air which is a clear sign of their unfair treatment of it's fans but it is my hope that they would at least reair all 13 episodes this summer. If nothing else this would allow us fans a chance to see the entire season including the remaining episodes they have choosen not to air.

As many of us already know, ratings aren't necessarily accurate. I hear Point Pleasant being discussed constantly throughout campus at the college I attend. In my area, it appears to be one of the most talked-about shows on television. Don't even get me started on the lack of chance it was given. They placed it in the toughest timeslot in all of television.....no wonder it didn't rate high. A different night and it could have been a hit. Finally, they decided not to even show the final episodes? Way to reward the fans, FOX....I'm really impressed. The least you could do for the 3 million or so people that the ratings systems "claimed" watched the show is to end it properly.

Why Cancel? how low could the ratings be that you would piss off the at least 3500 people who signed this before me by not letting us know how it ends with the final 5 episodes. Realisticly, I figured the story couldn't be continued into a second season, but I along with a lot of other people don't like to be left hanging in the middle of a story, and if you're gonna have a show that ends every episode with a cliffhanger (like PP or 24) at least give us the ending on Air or DVD.
