If i had to choose between North Shore and Tru Calling id chose North Shore,i dont think that show was given proper due.I liked the writers and plots much better and i dont think both shows could be on at the same time

Plsease give this show a chance. It's so interesting as it goes on. It would be a real shame for Fox to cancel it. If it were on a better time slot it would do better in the ratings. Please KEEP IT ON!!!!!!!!
This show is very creative. You guys are doing a brillant job. It's refreashing to see something interesting and not all about teenage lovelifes and crap liek that. It would be terrible if you guys cancelled.
This is the best show you have put out in a long time. It would be a silly mistake to consider cancelling the show. Ratings are clearly important when you run a busniess but you haven't given this show a chance. Those of us who have discovered it, did so by chance because it has received so little attention from the corporation. Your show will get a following that will be unbeatable compared to most other shows. You really must leave the show and advertise for it so that others can become intrigued and hooked. Do more to save the show, you won't find a better show to replace it with. We have so little on television that discusses these types of themes. Reality TV, romance, comedy...but who else other than you can satisfy the fans of the mystery and paranormal? Please keep the show!

This is a great show that has real potential to hook a real following. It has kept me on the edge and wanting to know more and more with every episode. I am not even a big tv watcher, but I take the extra time out of my schedule to watch this. Switch it's time slot and push the show more and I'm sure it'll do better! Give Point Pleasant a better chance!
Many of the petitioners here have spoken for me but I feel after this most recent episode 3/17.I really believe Marty has a jem on her hands but she needs one person just one of you @ FOX to give her that chance. If it requires reruns this summer and mayber a different day like some have suggested do IT!! The people that I have after strong urging gotten to see it are hooked. But I also believe your under the gun and we mere fans don't know what pressures your ratings guys are on. My plea is that you do what you can to push that evvelope.Like a previous petioner has said this show IS DIFFERENT!, not just the same formula of boyfreind girl freind drama, then sex then break up then make up etc. Yes the O.C. is your big show but after watching a few episodes of it the plot lines and meanings are much more shallow material. Marti is working on a different playing field where sujects of good and evil underly all the characters behaviors. The show is getting good let Marti have that chance to continue. There is an audience for this sort of material but that audience cannot be found right after the O.C. Promote it more and try a new night. Have that executive find the where with all to make that difference.You can do it!!
This show NEEDS to stay on because it's like the only show I watch on tv now..I find tv to be dull and boring, but with this show, I look forward to Thursdays EVERY WEEK now.

This may just be the most interesting show on television. the writing is great and the concept is creepy yet cool, I have been a loyal fan of fox for years, but i am losing faith in your company, because you cancel ever good show you got. JOhn Doe was amazing and you guys canceled it while leaving us hanging. Please give us one more season of point pleasant. The writing and stories are growing more complex and mind blowing. Plus boyd is a fearful, unique character that draws you in. Please fox i am 22 and i know good tv. Please for the fans do not cancel the show. I promise to boycott your network, if you cancel this season. Think about it, all of your hit shows are hits because you market them. I am in real estate and know the only way to suceed is to market my product. Just imagine if you marketed all your shows like you do house or american idol then imagine the money you could make. This show has the most intense plot lines, twists andturns...supernatural thrills coincide with teen drama to make the perfect show. The LAST thing we need is another teen barforama like The OC or One Tree HIll...at least Point Pleasant is origonal....
This is the best show i have seen in a long time! if you cancel this show i (and tons of other people for sure) will be extremely p'od! this show has so many plot twists and quirks that make it the number one show i wait for all week! if it was on every day i would watch it in a heartbeat! there is not much else i enjoy on your TV station, so you would be going DOWN THE DRAIN if you canceled this show after 1 season!
This show is the heir to such intelligent supernatural masterworks as Buffy and Angel, and the lack of shows with strong writing or plot development is a travesty that this show is part of rectifying. A show with writing and a plot of this calibur should not be taken off the air simply because they can't advertise it correctly. There aren't enough shows that pay attention to plot in a literary amount of detail, but this is one of them. Cancel one of your shows that goes for whatever plot twist will draw a few new people for one episode, and stick with brilliance. It will pay off in the long run. Look at the DVD sales of Buffy and Angel. 'Nuff said.
Look, I'm not going to beg. I'm simply going to say that Point Pleasant is a kickass show. First off what were you expecting, putting it on right after the OC (it's like you set it up to fail) Second of all, I'm hooked and by the sounds of it, I'm not the only one. This means you'll be disappointing all of your viewers. And let me remind you, that us viewers have the power to degrade you to the scum you have become for even considering doing anything to this show. Sure the OC is the star, but do you ever think that people are sick of corporations indoctrinating them to believe your reality of teen life. Now I'm not saying PP is realistic, but it sure is more interesting, with a plot that won't include ( fall in love, have sex, break up, fall in love again, get back together, typical boyfriend girlfriend drama) this show actaully has quality, history, mystery, and suspense, whereas the show right before it is cheesy as **** and totally predicatble. I say if you do anything to degrade this show, you will only be degrading yourselves, for profit, for greed, for insatiable avarice, that will one day haunt you.
Fox has not given this show a fair chance. I never see ads for the show, and Fox has not put any effort into it. I can tell you there are a lot of people who love this show and are excited about it. Thursday night at 9 is the money time slot where all the big shows are. If it can not draw ratings in this slot, please just move it to another. Put it on Sundays or Wednesdays or Fridays or anytime. Let the show build a while and see what happens. I don't even know what Fox shows on Friday or Saturday nights. This would easily be better than whatever they try to throw up there. Please do not take this show away.
please keep this show on. Its a perfect time slot for me to watch, I know its not ideal for alot of people and thats why ratings are not great but i think with better advertisement or a different time slot it would really take off.

I have never watched a television show on a regular basis; not the Simpsons, not Family Guy.. nada. But I have seen every episode of Point Pleasant. Please dont cancel it.
Please do not cancel Point Pleasant. It is absolutely the best show on television. If you have to move the timeslot thats fine, but please give it a chance. I know word of mouth is happening for the show because I am part of it. Many people at my work have recently started watching and everyone who has is hooked. I never go to websites for shows but here I am signing a petition. I firmly believe this is the best show on television since Twin Peaks and would hate to see the plug pulled too soon.
It's not the quanity of the people that watch the show, it's the quality. Point Pleasant definitly has
quality to offer, and thats just what people don't realize.

Our whole family gets together to watch this show but we are also getting upset with having to get involved in a show and having it taken away. We are seriously thinking about not watching FOX anymore and it was always the station we used to turn to watch most of our shows.
I have been going nuts looking for the show and looking for the show. Laura on 424 is right. Fox needs to give the show a chance. Just like 4400 did not get a chance. Now, we are all left wondering what is going to happen and no one takes the time to at least give a closing show if they are not going to continue showing. I know that the networks play this game where they play a show and then all of a sudden take it off to see the reactions of watchers but the shows still need a chance. Maybe FOX is going downhill so that is the reason why they do not keep some of the shows on past five episodes.

In my opinion, this is one of the best shows that has been put on the air. It goes far more than Supernatural and let's us know about the history of Christ and the Devil and it informs us of a great storyline!Please keep up the show!! =)
This show is original and wonderful, maybe the time slot for the show is bad, but ultimatly its intense and people need a good mystery these days, not a lot of reality, typical t.v. shows
