Point Pleasant is perhaps one of the most original shows on FOX. It had great potential with an outstanding show staff and actors, but its terrible timeslot overshadowed all the potential. The premise of the show was very spooky and reeled me in more and more as each episode aired. I looked forward to watching Point Pleasant every week; it's a shame that FOX would give this show the axe so quickly. I think they should give PP another shot at a new timeslot; perhaps then the show will shine.
This is a great show. A daring show. Give the writers a chance to develop things. The plot is dynamic, twisting, and intriguing. Keep this show alive; it's got so much potential!
Hello, i live in the uk and one of our channels was showing Point Pleasant too which i was really getting into, now the channel has had to stop showing it because FOX have taken it off the air over there.
WE DESERVE TO SEE AT LEAST THE END OF THIS SEASON, ITS NOT FAIR TO END IT HAVE WAY THROUGH.

Man this is not the first time FOX does this to good show, it's insane. Can you please bring it back. I hate the lack of consideration the network has toward the views, unbelieveable.

i agree with what someone else said. You always cancel good shows. Just because they dont get the viewers straigt away doesnt mean they arent going to be successfull in the long run!!! Not every programme get a wide fan base straight away. Take buffy for example. That wasnt that popular at first and now look its gunna be remebered forever!!!! No wonder your losing viewers because you keep cancelling good shows. Please air the 13 episodes or at least put it onto DVD

Enough reality TV. Point Pleasant was something this forty year old woman liked to watch along with her nineteen year old daughter. It has a wide age range for its audience. You never promoted it properly. When I found it, and I was greatful it wasn't another reality show, I watched it faithfully. You should have said something on the website about poor ratings so word of mouth could have spread. You never gave it a chance. I think you should air the rest of the episodes and end it at that, instead of ending at a climax. Every wants to know more. There are more unanswered questions, than answered ones. Please, give the Fox fans what they want. New time slot, any time slot just let us watch the last season.

Hello, I am furious with the FOX Network and wanted to make my feelings known.......
Canceling Point Pleasant was one thing......it apparently hadn't been doing well in the ratings up to that point, so it was understandable, although I would have liked to have seen it given a better chance. Big surprise it wasn't doing well, since you put it in the toughest time slot in all of television. I, and most others, knew it could never compete in this time slot, and hoped you would at least give it a chance in another before canceling it.......but no. I think the ratings it was pulling in were actually fairly good for the time slot it was in. You may not care, but I heard the show being discussed and talked about CONSTANTLY on the campus of the college I attend. So many, in fact, you would think the show was a HUGE hit. Maybe it's just my area, but we all know the ratings systems aren't always accurate, especially with Nielson recently admitting their ratings for an entire year were botched and are esentially "worthless"! But enough complaining about that.....let me get to the REAL reason I'm FURIOUS!
In an interview with the producer of Point Pleasant, he said that he had wrapped up the show pretty well in episode 13, since it would probably be canceled, giving it a "proper" ending rather than leaving off in a claiffhanger like so many other canceled programs do. I thought this was EXTREMELY considerate of the writers and producers of Point Pleasant, and something not many others would bother to do. Even though it had been canceled, I eagerly awaited the final episodes......
You can imagine my frustration (or maybe you can't - or just don't care about your viewers) when I heard FOX would not be airing the remaining episodes. What a nice "thank you" you have given to the 3 million or so viewers that have been watching and caring about the Point Pleasant storyline for weeks. I would have expected this from other
I can't beleive you canceled this show. It actually had some different personality to it than most of the other crap you guys air. You would have likely gotten more viewers had you not put it on at the same time as CSI on 13!!! You can't compete with them! However, I sacrificed CSI to give FOX a chance with this show. THe show is good. Cheesy, but good, and it is not the same old crap on T.V. Please put this show back on, or at least finish this season out. You really have not ear to consumer desire if you decide to not air the remaning shows within a reasonable amount of time. If y ou wait until May or June, so many people will have forgotten about it by then, that you should expect poor ratings. You really need to work on your Human Resources Dept!!!

Fox really sucks....every show that comes on, they freaking cancel before even ending the season. That is not right. They could at least finish out the season to give fans closure! Then if they ratings aren't good, don't have a second season. After all they already spent the money taping the episodes, the least they can do is show them to us. I will never watch another show on fox as long as I live. Oh and by the way American Idol is getting a little old......
I continue to be disappointed by FOX, every time they hit on something I like, they pull it. But they choose to hang on to shows like "Family Guy" hat happens to be on of the most unfunny and obnoxious shows ever to air!!! Bring the show back! OR at least release the unaired episodes. You can't leave us devoted fans hanging like this! I'd hate to boycott other fox shows, especially the morning news (San diego's morning news team is awesome), but this isn't the firsttime and I doubt it will be the last that a show is pulled. Did the American Idol screw-up have anything to do with the canceling????
I love Point Pleasant! It was the best show on FOX! I watched it every Thursday night when it was on and never missed a show. So if you cancel Point Pleasant for good, I will stop watching FOX!
Fox has a REALLY bad habit of taking only the good shows off the air. They give them one season, in this case, just a few episode's, on air, and snatch them right off again. Yet, they keep running those stupid nonsense reality shows. I was outraged when they took TRU CALLING off the air. I must say they did the right thing in bringing that back, so I will remain hopeful that FOX will come to their senses and bring back POINT PLEASANT-ASAP.
At least put it out on DVD or finish the season so we can get some answers. I will never start a new show on Fox again unless I can see Point Pleasent put back to finish the season!

There is obviously a lot of people who enjoyed this show and there is no reason to go and cancel it. It was in the worst time slot and was there any advertising for this show anyways? I am tired of Fox canceling decent shows. Not everybody is into reality shows. Point Pleasant and 24 are the only shows I was watching on Fox. How long before Fox cancels 24. I am surprise to see that Fox brought back Tru Calling. How long before they cancel this one again. I don't know why anyone would want to pitch a show to Fox. If they do Fox is only going to cancel it after a few epsiodes.
Point Pleasant is one of the best shows on TV. What in the world is FOX trying to do? All Fox seems to care about is their BIASED news reporting. KEEP POINT PLEASANT. It's an outstanding show.
this show just got better and better with each episode and it is really the best show FoX has got going for them. Also Marti Noxon said she might bring James Marsters on next season and that might bring a lot of newcomers. My sister even said she would watch the show if he came on.
I am 29 years old and really enjoyed Point PLeasant. I am SHOCKED to find out it has been cancelled without ever giving it a chance! Fox really needs to bring the show back.
A show that doesn't cater to "reality TV', sex, or our obsession with the celebrities. Why was it taken off?!?! Is it because it deals with God and the Devil. The one thing I looked forward to on Thursday nights that had a dark side to it, and its gone. At least finish the season!
