point pleasant deserves the opportunity to build an audience, and the only way to accomplish this is by advertising, not preempting, and not switching the show around the schedule. i can't tell you how many times i HAVEN'T watched a show that seems unique and different because i didn't want to invest the time and have the carpet yanked out from under my feet. gee, buffy sounded like one of those shows, and look what came of it. while the first couple of episodes were sketchy, they have gotten increasingly better and seem to have found their groove. if you so choose to not renew this series, you will be selling yourselves as well as the fans short. and if you do, at least have the decency to wrap everything up with a 2 hour event movie. viewers like to be challenged, and they are with this show. don't let the idiots with the ratings boxes determine the fate of this show. you didn't let them do it with arrested development, and don't let them do it with point pleasant. thanks.
This show is following the same path as Buffy - low ratings, almost cancellation,and then the ratings skyrocket! Give this show a chance, FOX, and you'll have a huge hit on your hands.
Holy crap dont cancel it its prolly the best show ive ever seen and the story is just getting really thick now, all You need to do is change the time slot and itl get better ratings
I know the ratings are horrible for this show,one of the worst rated shows on a major network but a few people like that and whats more important FOX? Stop thinking about yourself and making money! jerks
*begging* Please don't cancel-- the show is getting better and better as it goes on-- and now you're bringing all of your Buffy and Angel genre fans back into the fold as well. This could be unstoppable if you give it a little bit more time!

There are so many shows on Thursday. It's on at the same time Will & Grace is on. I think a better day or time would work out better than canceling the show. This show is better than the OC and anything else out there. It's not cliche, it's new and it's interesting.
PLEASE don't cancel Point Pleasant! In addition to myself, my wife (who normally hates anything fantasy/sci-fi related) loves this show too!! Please give it more time - I definitely think it will attract more viewers like us!! PS - and why on earth would you put a new show like this on during the Thursday night timeslot??

I feel that if this show is cancelled it will have been done prematurely, it was already done with Tru Calling and I can't stand to see such a good show be kicked for another crappy teen program that has nothing for the older generation of viewrs, I stopped watching Fox along time ago because of this untill Tru Calling and was going to go back on strike till I found Point Pleasant, I think I might reconsider my choice to be a viewer of all fox programming and affiliates if they continue to make poor decisions.
I think it would be very wrong of you guys if you take Point Pleasant off air. You need to give it time to grow and become more popular. Not everyone wants to watch a show about teens having sex with each other.

As a point pleasant business man i was hoping a popular show would help our economy,not that it was bad but who says i cant make more money....actually its hurt me,people cancelled orders because of an association with the show.So i say cancel it! Its not good to begin with,i have 2 daughters 13 and 15 and they said the show is horrible,i just refused to watch it after losing money ebcause of it

Fox, please don't cancel Point Pleasant. It's an awesome show, and it's building a fan base. The more you cancel the good shows, the more viewers you'll lose.
