Ok, first off, Point Pleasant was a good show, it never really had a chance to show America what it was REALLY made of, before it was cut off. I believe the resaon why Point Pleasant was cut off, was because it didn't have any sex on the show like with THE OC, or those other sex-driven teen shows, Point Pleasant was a show for everyone, PLEASE FOX, give Point Pleasant another try, everyone who has put theses petitions in REALLY love the show. WE ARE FANS OF THE SHOW. PLEASE GIVE POINT PLEASANT ANOTHER TRY!! THANKYOU
I'm getting tired of Fox making stupid decisions. They now have put two good shows in the Thursday 9:00 time slot and they have both failed. I wonder if it could be the time slot? I mean, that time slot is only the same time slot that the number one rated television show is in on another channel. I wonder if that is why they have low ratings? Fox should just give up on this timeslot until CSI is cancelled.
I am so sick of Fox cancelling all the shows I get interested in. You have no loyalty to your viewers. It was the only show I watch on FOX, so I guess you lost a viewer for life. And more than just me. If you bring it back, you will gain viewers. You even advertised the following week's episode. BOYCOTT FOX!
This show had potential to be very good, you guys should give shows a chance to develop. A show like this that actually has some substance and tries to do something different needs time to develop a fan base. You guys did a piss poor job of promoting this show anyway, what did you expect to happen. If you guys are this quick to pull the trigger, maybe you should just stop, stick to reality tv (when is "Who's Your Daddy?" coming on, that one seems like a winner), that way people with any taste whatsoever will just skip your station. By the way, if you cancel Arrested Development as well I'm done with Fox straight up. It won't be that hard, what would I really be missing? Life on a Stick? I think I can manage that, if you know what I mean...
I must say even though i love the show and would love it to come back JACK (5376) is right they wont listen to a few people, they aint gonna bring it back.
Gary (5394) and I had our very first bonding experiences with that show... he actually embraced me as one of his own (friends). it must be brought back!

Best show, why cancel Point Pleasant? Please sell it to another network so they can do something with it. Gee if it was on a monday night at 8 who would get more ratings: Nanny 911 or Point Pleasant? Wow real tough decision but I would have to go with the latter. Dont make us fans suffer. We deserve much better, so bring back PP or at least sell it off to another network and sell the DVD's as well. Peace
To JACK who posted earlier: Fox may of canceled it and not want to brign it back but that doesent mean that another network wont pick it up. That happens all the time. So maybe fox wont bring it back no matter how many petitions we sign and etc. but that doesent mean that it wont go to another network. My daughter and I have not missed an episode. We wondered last week why it wasn't on and now we found out it has been cancelled. Very disappointing. It was just starting to get really interesting and you pull the plug? At least let us see how it comes out. Shame on you FOX.
I've only seen the show once.. yes I know.. that's terrible. But I love it. Besides look at my poor friend "Billy Walter" here. He cancels all plans on his Thursdays for this show. You people SUCK!

Point Pleasant was really good. Thats the 3rd show cancelled that I really enjoyed. Show is a lot better than what it was replaced with. We do want it.
Point Pleasant was the ONLY non-sitcom show I liked on your station. It was far differant than that horror the OC. It gave us veiwers with a "darker" taste something good to watch, rather than the whole "real life drama" type of shows, or the "reality tv" type shows.
Point Pleasant was amazing, I was obssesed with it the first first time I watched it. I canceled all my plans on my Thursday nights just to watch it.
Now look. the show barley gets off it's feet and you cancel it without warning. You hardly promoted the show either, but of course you promote a show such as the OC, which has already been on forever.

Boycott Fox AND their advertisers, but tell them why. This has happened too often. I don't know who they canvassed, but they didn't get a real cross section. Bring back Point Pleasant, Tru Calling and Firefly.
I admit that the show takes a little time to grow on you but this could be a big hit as was Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It just needs a chance and a little better writing. But I watched it each week until it was no where to be found on tv. Please give it a chance, you could be throwing away your next occult hit.

This was the only show I looked forward to each week. You have left us in the lurch just when it was all about to come together. Please bring Point Pleasant back to Fox. It was a great show, and many viewers are very disappointed.

Wow I am having trouble finding a show on Mondays. Its all reality bs. Of all the days and times couldnt Point Pleasant be on a Monday at 8pm? Give the people soemthing besides Nanny 911,Extreme makeover,and Fear Factor for options to watch at that time. If we ahd PP on at 8 on Mondays and to give us viewers from a monopoly of reality tv then PP would be a lot better off in the ratings. please give us a option away from the reality bs. Please let the show go on, this is my favorite show ever! It has drama and is a thriller. You can not cancel it in the middle of the show. Aleast show the rest of the show.

My wife and I love this show. I cannot believe you would not even give the show a chance before canceling it. What about the loyal fans of the show? Could you not at least let the show complete the seanson?
Please at least complete the 13 scheduled episodes so that the loyal viewers can know what happens at the end of the season. I don't think this is fair that you just cancel the show without giving it a real chance. Cancelling Point Pleasant was the brightest thing that Fox has done, instead of cancelling a Awesome show why don't they to get rid of all the re-runs of Friends...now that show is tired and needs to retired!! and Back when they aired Baywatch...that show was a big joke, it should have been cancelled after the first show. I really liked the show. I attend church every week and like that the show was related to what will be happening sometime in the near future. I wish they would at least finish the season or end it some way.
