I really can't believe you cancelled this show. I was in anticipation from week to week to just see the next episode.I really don't wathc many shows on Fox, but this one had me hooked? Canceling Point Pleasant without giving it a decent time slot and an opportunity to build a fan base is not very intelligent. My husband and I recorded every episode, and if it wasn't for CSI, I'm certain the series would have developed more of a following. Bad move Fox.

Aubrey Dollar is awesome in this role. I was a fan of hers when she was on Guiding Light. If you cancel for good send her back to GL.
that is so not respectful to stop the show without any attention to the people(your customers those who pay your salary at the end!)watching it,at least you should be smart and logic, by putting it on 'til the end of the first season!

I just want you to know that I loved Point Pleasant. I know you don't
care, but Tru calling is a piece of junk.......I much prefer Christina
and company, as do many of my friends.
Will there be any way to obtain the seven episodes already aired? Is
there a possibility that the show will be picked up on another
network? Why wasn't there any notification that Point Pleasant was
being cancelled. I was pretty ticked last week to tune in and find
that piece of crap Tru Calling on when Point Pleasant was supposed to
be.
I guess I just wish you people would act more responsibly. How can you
expect a show to succeed when you don't support it at all?
But then this is Fox, the "super-right-wing" network....could it be
that the holy rollers who head up the Fox network got squeamish at the
topic? Did some right leaning corporations threaten to pull their ads?
Perhaps I am being too cynical....but then again, this is Fox, the
yellowist of all network journalism. Or, I shudder to ask, but did the
Federal government have a say in the matter? I certainly would not put
it above GW and company....and I think it's safe to assume that nobody
at Fox would resist a federal request.
So, Fox goes back to having nothing good during prime time, in my
humble opinion. I think the last thing you people did correctly was
The Simpsons.
I wish there were stronger words that I could use to express my
disappointment at the decision to cancel Point Pleasant. I think the
show could have done very well had it been given even a little bit of
support. I never once saw the type of ads for it that I do for that
crappy O.C. show. Bunch of lovesick teenagers running around doing
drugs, swapping boyfriends and girlfriends, and young girls getting
pregnant.....the same tired old story lines. Or maybe some lame new
reality show. It was refreshing to see something new and creative on
Fox. I should have known that it was too good to last.
Dear FOX: TRU CALLING SUCKS! Please bring back Point Pleasant. You finally had a show worth recording to avoid missing an episode and you cancelled it. If Tru Calling is your answer, then you guys suck just like the show you replaced Point Pleasant with.
All good shows get cancelled and Friends/Frasier somehow stayed on the air more than the 2 shows they deserved. BRING IT BACK and PUT IT AFTER AMERICAN IDOL TO GET THE VIEWERS.
Please don`t cancel any show that starts a bit slow! People need time to get used to the new show and once they did you already cancelled it again! And why is it that you neither promote the show before and while it runs nor announce the closing of the show more prominent! Suddenly the show is gone and all we can do is look it up in the internet? That is not exactly customer friendly behaviour!
Don't kill the show like you did with Family Guy and then end up regretting it later. I loved the show. It is one of the only shows I watch each week-better than the O.C. Please air the rest of the episodes!!!
what a bunch of idiots to cancel a show before it's even finished a season. how the hell can you tell if it's gonna make it or not with so few showings? and what's with scheduling it opposite some of the other (REAL) networks' best shows? do you not want it to succeed? it's a hell of a lot better show than most of your other offerings - eg: The Quint's, Cops, Swan, Simple Life, Arrested Dev., Nanny, Life On A Schtick, & worst of all...American Idol! The hell with 24 (the only other show I watch on your so-called network), I can live without seeing another episode...it's been nothing but a repetition for the past several years anyway! And, I guess I can now live without watching anything on FOX again!
Why cancel the show? How do you know exactly how many people REALLY are watcing or TIVO this show. I work long hours and loved watching Pt Pleasant bring it back!

Yes, Point Pleasant needs to come back to your channel. I don't understand why you would take it off in the first place. It's amusing and fun to watch. I wish, FOX, that you would reconsider this action of taking Point Pleasant off the air. I would sit in the living room with my daughter and we would make the time to get to see this show.
Hello FOX, I would really appreciate it if you put Point Pleasant back in its spot on television. I thoroughly enjoyed this show and actually looked forward to Thursday nights. I paced myself to get all of my homework done for that time slot show I could rest myself down and watch Point Pleasant. I do not think it was right to show previews for next weeks show when it didn't get air, and what's particularly frustrating is there was no mention of this "cancellation" of Point Pleasant.
Please place this show back where it belongs. The WB has already taken away Birds of Prey and Angel. Two shows that were actually entertaining and let me not mention the anonymous cancellation of Wolf Lake, too, yet another show ten times better than this ridiculous, pitiful excuse shows on today.

Point Pleasant was the best show I've seen on television since Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was awesome! Point Pleasant had so much drama going on! How could you cancel such an awesome show? It could have gone in so many directions!
I was just getting into this show and you cancelled at a very critical point!! Please bring it back. I enjoyed watching it very much. Or, at the very least, tell us where we can buy the show in it's completion.
This show was something interesting. Who have all that "real" violence, sex, etc. PP was a good show. It was exciting - like "24" it made you wish you didn't have to wait until next week to see what happens. Bring it back!!!

If tv is a businness then you need better business managers. Sometimes a show needs time to catch on (Cheers, Seinfeld) but the worst thing a business can do is to replace a good product like point pleasant(that has been given weak promotion) with a substandard product like tru calling.
The only good thing about tru calling is that it is so boring that I am saving on my electric bill because my tv is now off on thursday night.

This was one of the best shows in a long time!!! I want it back on the air so bad!! I miss it! Why dont you cancel that dumb Life on a Stick and Quintuplets? They are two of the worst shows on right now! Not to mention how annoying American Idol is. Please bring it back!!
We here at FOX would like to thank you for taking the time to sign this petition but as of now there is no chance of this show coming back on the air in the foreseeable future. The ratings were way too low,especially for its target audience and the commercial sales suffered greatly because of it.We actually kept this show on 2 weeks longer than we wanted to because of the supposed interest over the internet.When that interest didnt translate into ratings we knew we had to pull the plug on the show before we lost too much money on it.We are extremely disappointed as we had high hopes for the show but that did not translate into viewers.We are sorry if you cant understand that tv is a business and if a business loses money than its doing something wrong.I would like to announce much to the delight of everyone here(except those people who are obvious Tru Calling and just come here to gloat,man theres alot of them!) that Point Pleasant will indeed be out on DVD with a release date of around spring 2006. All 12 finished episodes will be on it as well as some extras with the cast,crew and location.There will be no footage of the actual town it was based on as the show was very poorly recieved there.A Nielsen survey of the town showed that Point Pleasant was actually beat by the public announcement channel in the towns of Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach NJ.When asked what the PA show was,we were sent a tape and found it was just town news/bulletins with classical music playing in the background.Not the best sign for the show :) Thank you all for your support of FOX and dont forget to watch our Animation Domination starting May 1st

I was just starting to get into this show. You put in on at a very hard time (against The Apprentice and CSI) as a mid season replacement. Of course it's going to be difficult to find an audience. Give it another shot.
