I am very disappointed: The the best show on TV right now has been canceled! I love OC, I watch the Batchelor and many other reality TV shows, but I am getting kind of tired of reality TV - Point Pleasant had at least some substance! So please, FOX, if you had to kill the show because the general public does not get it, fine, but please have the decency to run the last episodes so we can find out what happened! Just air it in the middle of the night - I don't care, as long as you air it. Or at least bring it out on DVD. I would definetely buy it.
By the way, I have never signed a petition - I must feel very passionate about the show in order to do this!
Once again, I am disappointed in FOX for canceling one of my favorite shows. I cannot believe that the final episodes will not be shown. When 'Point Pleasant' was first broadcast, I applauded FOX for their good vs. evil adaptation. Now that the show has been canceled, I wonder why I even bothered - FOX would rather showcase the talented Paris Hilton (yeah right) than let their viewers actually watch something worthwhile.
I cant tell you how gutted i am with Fox, why the hell couldnt you at least let us finish the whole series, do you actually get a kick out off letting people down. I really was enjoying it and cant believe this is normal pratice for you people to do this!! Bring it back and let us enjoy!!! please!! If not then can we get in on DVD?

Was loving Point Pleasant and v disappointed that its stopped. I'd been looking foward to the nxt episode all week - plot was starting to get pretty interesting and I was hooked !

Best show on TV by far. What better tale then good vs. evil? Its the longest telling and classic story of all time and yet it still captivates us. you can not beat this show and it deserves so much better. Please keep it or give it to another network

I am very disappointed that fox has pulled this show, I loved this show,I agree with everyone else that it was not given a chance to become a success because of the time and day it was aired. I am also a CSI fan but I would tape CSI and watch point pleasant because I couldn't wait to watch and see what happened next, this story had me hooked, it had drama, suspense, and thriller all wrapped into one show. I really hope fox reconsiders bringing back point pleasant, but I doubt it because of what Barros wrote, but it would be nice if fox would give it a chance on another night instead.
Fox should know, that in years past, for whatever reason, our family has been chosen to fill out nielson viewer preferences (arbitron points) and my wife and I are pissed at Fox for the Point fiasco. We're not going to take it any more!
Point Pleasant was the best show on air. The other shows on Fox (besides the OC) suck. Now I have nothing to look forward to at 9:00 p.m.PST on Thursday nights. I guess i'll have to switch networks and watch ABC's Extreme Makeover because I will boycott FOX until they bring back Point Pleasant. It was the only show with good drama, suspsense, mystery, and spirituality.
Wow that To: guy is great. He socked it to Barros like the Yanks did to the Sox. He made his point clear. I just hope Barros realises that Point Pleasant is great and maybe can sell it off if Fox doesent keep the show for itself.

Heres the problem:You go on to mentioned that the ratings were low and that it cost more to advertise then what the ratings were pulling in.I am sure everyone understands that this is just business. But there are some things that make us scratch our heads and those are......
If the show was so bad then 1. Why dont you sell it off to another network? Because if you look carefully at the numbered petitions you would notice that people like this show. See number of people = future ratings. Thats what you want right?
2. When you advertised the show the problem was you put this show on THURSDAYS at 9PM! If you havent read the earlier petitions you would of realised that Point Pleasant was up against the number 1 rated show in:The Apprentice & number 2 show:CSI. So no matter what show was on at that day and time it would bomb horribly. Thats not Point Pleasant's fault, that is Fox's fault. Oh and on top of it its really hard to get into a show when you air the program for 2 weeks straight and then go and pull it off for 4 weeks and then expect great ratings when its on weeks later. When a show is off for that long of a time usually its hard to get a fan base going. So if a show is to have ratings, then maybe just maybe you should...I dont know...SHOW THE SHOW WEEKLY? Its common sence even a 2 year old can get that. Show the show on a weekly basis consistently and you get ratings.
3. Back to the time slot. You say the ratings were low which is a huge duh with the date and time you put it on. Now consider this for a second. just grasp the thought. What if, just if Point Pleasant was to be on another day and time? Say for example Monday at 8pm. I am sure Point Pleasant would do better in the ratings then Nanny 911. Se
This is a very interesting show. There is nothing out there like it. Before cancelling-change the time slot, give it a chance to find an audience, advertise. I am 40 years old-not interested in the O.C. but liked the diverse, intelligent characters on this show. Please reconsider.

Would it be possible for ou to sell the show to another network? Maybe they would promote it properly and be able to get viewers. I told alot of people about this show and they all said they had never heard of it. You didn't promote it! How could you get viewers? It was destine to die. That's not fair to all it's "TRU CALLING" fans! Oh by the way the show "Tru Calling" stinks! I do agree with what others have said about the OC also. I was a loyal fan of this show until you decided to let things go astray with a few of the characters. Network TV has become reality, shoot-em up, and medical shows. Point Plesant was a breath of fresh air. Please bring it back or sell the rights to cable or another network if you can't promote or handle the pressure.
Point Pleasant was a brilliant show and I was disappointed by FOX's choice to cancel it. The 4 million people who watched it each week want to see the remaining five episodes.

You must bring back POINT PLEASANT! Get rid of all those reality shows. I switched to watching cable because of all the reality shows on cable, and then discovered Point Pleasant. I loved it! Made me believe that FOX was trying to do something good again. I looked forward to every Thursday night, my night to watch FOX. The O.C. and then Point Pleasant. I just don't understand. It was teaching children that good could over come evil. I guess I'll go back to cable. FOX you really need to get in touch with reality yourself!

Point pleasant was a great show if the people at fox had half a brain and lighter pockets then the show would still be on. We give you a chance every time you air a new show for god sake can;t you return the favor.
I truely enjoyed Point Pleasant, I am very disheartened that the show is being cancelled without notice to the fans. I think the show has great potential.
Bring back Point Pleasant. If you don't like super natural dramas then don't Greenlight them. Let another studio have a chance at these shows before you ruin it for everybody.
C'mon FOX wake up! Not everything is going to be The Swan. Let me explain: One hour dramas take little bit of time to find their legs. See because you need to use your brain. Where as reality tv, not so much. Follow?
Please bring back the show, Point Pleasant. You should have notified the public much more ahead of time before the first episode was going to show. You should not have ended half way through the series and left all of the viewers hanging. Please if there is not any way to possibly air the show again, then at least make and sell the DVD Set.
What the hell happened to RESPECT for the viewer? Who is the ADD idiot that continues to mess with our heads? Look just because you can't sit still for more than 3 sec does not mean that we, the viewer and your bread and butter, (unless you're on a crazy ass diet which would explain alot) have the same problem. We can stick it out and get our friends to watch. BUT, you need to give us the opportunity, and the TIME to get there.

What the daisy? I just found out about the show being cancelled. Why even bother to bring up new scripted shows when you obviouslly don't inted to keep them?! Fox, Just stick with the reality trash you are so fond of promoting. You have taken a perfectly good show out of box, then not allowed it to find it's fan base, cancelled it, and now there isn't another outlet for it. Thereby in effect killing something you don't like.

What are you trying to do, Fox? Of course the show isn't going to have as many viewers as the OC but Point Pleasant hasn't been on nearly long enough to even COMPARE it to the OC. All of these disappointed viewers are saying that they watched the show - doesn't that count for anything? You are going to lose way more viewers by taking this show off than keeping it on. Think about that.
Ill hope and prey it comes back. I miss it so much. Its the only show i watch on tv. I love the show and if they could only give it another chance. I love it so much =that i actually have dreams about it at night.
Bring back point pleasant .... I love that show and so does everyone I know who has watched it. Although, many people have never even heard of it because it is never advertised. I tell everyone about it, and after they watch it they ask "why haven't I hear of this show before?" EXACTLY.. so get off your butts and put the shoe back on... it was a great concept and I along with at least 20 other people I know were hooked on it!

You cancelled Firefly, you released it on DVD. It sold. Now it's to be a feature film! Imagine how much more money it would have made you if you'd kept it on. Don't make the same mistake with Point Pleasant... It was finally hitting its stride in the last few episodes aired. Even my hard-to-please girlfriend described it as good. Don't be stupid, now.
I am very upset this show was canceled before it even had a chance to successed. Fox is rude in regards to the constant cancelation of great shows, Tru Calling and Point Pleasant is an easy example. I love Point Pleasant and I MISS THE CHARACTERS, I want this show back.
