Finally something worth watching since Buffy and Angel went off the air. This show deserves a chance to stay on the air and show everyone what it can give. It cannot truly go deep enough into the story and mythology unless it stays on long enough. Give it a chance and it it will be a winner!
Please do not cancel this show. After a slow start, it's finding its feet. The last episode ("Swimming with Boyd", 1.08) is the best thing I've seen on television in six months. Some characters are really developing, elements that don't work are being downplayed, phased out. "Genre" dramas shouldn't be judged on ratings alone (particularly when thrown into a "death slot" opposite CSI/Apprentice) because they take a while to build a following (see the 1st season ratings on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), but when they do, it's a devoted and long-lasting fandom that ensures lots of ancillary profits (merchandise, rerun value, spinoffs, etc.) Give it a chance!
Don't cancel this show please.They've already cancelled all my other favorite ones now I only watch a handful of shows left on the TV all thats left anymore is those dang reality TV shows(I hate those)
Please keep Point Pleasent going! It needs some time to develop. Last weeks episode was GREAT! If it keeps going in that direction, it NEEDS to be saved. Thanks!
Please dont cancel the show i believe that it has a good storyline behind it now. I like it even when it first came out it wasnt the best pilot but as the episodes went on i kept on wishing that it was on everyday instead of having to wait a whole week for the next PLEASE PLEASE DONT CANCEL POINT PLEASANT.
The error with this show was the weak pilot episode, because the subsequent episodes have been excellent. This is a good, if troubling, series.
I suggest a stronger promotion.
What IS up with you guys cancelling shows in record numbers before letting them get off the ground? Its a wonder anyone pitches shows to FOX at all. Cancel the show and kiss this viewer godbye.
OK this is actually way better of a show than The OC right now!!!! and it keeps getting better, strong cast, exciting stories, nail-biting horror, and mysteries galore!! this has potential of developing many stories with all the characters!!! I mean if Angel and Buffy can last 10 seasons than this sure can!! PLeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease save this show!!

Please, please, please save Point Pleasant. This show has the potential to be one of the greatest shows ever. It's just the beginning and I know it doesn't work out very well yet, but believe me it's going to get better!The show gets better from episode to episode and the cast is great!So give it a chance!!!!
The first three episodes were a bit lackluster, but I stuck with it and I'm glad I did. Most people don't have that patience, but the show has hit a real stride of quality, exciting, and unique television. I don't miss an ep, and would love to see season 2, perhaps in a timeslot that wasn't up against the most popular show on television. Thanks for your consideration.
Point Pleasant is one of the best dramas on TV. TV is pretty bad right now and there's hardly anything good on. Point Pleasant is going to change that though.
